First let me say that if it wasn’t for all the talk about him bad mouthing Goldberg I would never have heard of Matt Riddle. Now that said last night was the first time I watched him wrestle and I wasn’t impressed with Riddle at all. Other than that it was a pretty entertaining show.

Seems like they're building up to Kushida/Riddle/Profits vs Imperium in War Games which is just as good as UE vs Imperium.

It was a five minute Street Fight that devolved into a brawl with the entire damn roster, that's hardly enough of a sample size to form such an opinion, honestly. Watch his Takeover match with Dream if you really want a good enough sample of his work.

I thought the first show fully delivered. All the complaining for weeks about Vince changing NXT was all for nothing. Really liked having the 205 & UK talent being involved. Also really pleased to see Rush back. He could be exciting as a face.

Because what I saw last night was two guys that aren’t that great that they had to hide their short comings by taking the attention off of them and put it on the rest of the roster. Riddle’s strikes looked very bad because you could see he was holding them back trying not to connect.

You are clearly open minded about giving Riddle a fair chance If he short arming his strikes in those other matches like he was doing last night than I will never change my opinion. Maybe it’s because he was a mma fighter and he’s overthinking how he throws a punch without actually hitting someone with force, but what I saw last night wasn’t even remotely believable.

Im sure before 205 even started, Vince was against the idea of the cruiserweights having their own show and as usual he was correct. So many people think Vince is out of touch, ive never believed that, he knows this business inside out and I always get a smile when he proves people wrong. I always watched it every week and enjoyed it more often than not but alot of the time there was hardly anyone in the crowd. It can only be a good thing merging 205 with NXT.

Pack it up AEW, war's over, y'all already lost At least until AEW's debut show on TNT. Then people will probably be telling NXT to pack it up and head back to the WWE Network.
