I’m sure most have already seen on social media, but didn’t see it posted here.
Last night Bray Wyatt was the dark match main event in MSG, taking on the B Team in a handicap match.

Fiend is what I wish Balor would have been when he brings out the Demon. Fiend is much more aggressive than Bray. Finally putting that Ferrari engine in gear.
I would have had Fiend's music hit, and then you see him dragging the B Team out from the entrance way, tossing them into the ring, and then calling for an impromptu match.

Meh. At the end of the day it's still Bray Wyatt, so..... Meh. That's how I kinda feel. The Firefly Fun house skits are ok, the puppets are funny. The camera cuts and special effects are somewhat different and entertaining.....but the payoff is just the same Bray Wyatt match we've gotten since 2014....but now, HE'S WEARING A MASK! I'm all for character re-boots and freshening things up...but the MATCH is always supposed to be the payoff. I feel like the Fiend character itself has potential,....but as a WRESTLER; Bray Wyatt has NOT yet shown any improvement. People act like Bray vs Finn at SummerSlam was like this crazy, amazing, game changing thing....but if he WASN'T dressed as the Fiend and that match had happened a year ago and he was just regular old Bray Wyatt and the match was exactly the same, people would have crapped all over it. Bottom line, dude needs to get better in the ring. That's what I'm trying to say.

I still don't even know what to think about all of it as far as an actual in-ring performance. Like the Fiend entrance is definitely something wild, but now that we've seen it the shock value will slowly wear off. Which means it's down to figuring out how to use that character multiple times a year in feuds. We'll see if they can pull that off. I'm kind of ok with him being a 911 style character where he just shows up at random and hits his finisher and then leaves. Overall, I think that's a super weird choice for a dark match main event, but I guess it's nice to see that the B Team is still employed.
I think Firefly Fun House is great. I enjoy that kind of thing and I think it shakes up the cadence of the show, which WWE desperately needs right now.

I think it's wise not to over expose him yet. Keep fans guessing.
