Olie’s is now at my old toysrus, so I’m still going there looking for figures. It’s weird, they are even in the same area. Olie’s still has the old toysrus carts too, and the logos are still all over the floor.

Toys r us, Kiddie world, Kiddie city and KB I miss. There are still 2 Kmarts I check every now and then. Both have elite 66 now.

Yes, but the one that I am talking about is in Media, on Baltimore Pike. That’s funny. I wonder if it’s a PA thing?

I was at the Westwood No K-Mart yesterday. They had 1 RAW spring ring, 1 E68 DB and a bunch of the SuperStar dolls. Nothing else WWE. And other than 1 Batman Missions Batman/Robin/Bane boxed set nothing Batman/DC. Not even a 12” True Moves figure. Very disappointing all around as I put my back out walking back to the front of the store and had to have my wife drive home because I couldn’t lift my right leg to work the pedals. And it’s still pretty f’ed up today.

Anybody remember Hills? That store was better than TRU half the time I remember Hills. According to legend little folks know, Hills is where the toys are.

K Mart... No. TRU... Kind of. At least when TRU carried store exclusives, they were easier to come by. But the regular elite series, they hardly stocked new series.

Kmart is terrible when it comes to finding WWE figures. They were the biggest reason as to why I order online

Both were good places to find figures until the last 5 or 6 years. They were actually better stocked than the Walmarts and Targets at the time. At least where I live.

Toys R Us often overstocked their exclusives. I remember one time, my TRU had Network Spotlight Big Bossman, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Ringmaster, Vince McMahon, Undertaker, Finn Balor, Bayley, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose all on the shelf at the same time. This was when Elite 45-49 was supposed to be in stores, but my TRU never carried them.

The only time I remember Kmart being a reliable place for wrestling figures was in the late 90s, especially 1998-1999.
I remember discovering the entire BCA Series 6 there and being amazed. This was back when you didn't know about any new figures until you actually saw them in stores. Seems silly to believe today, but back then it was the greatest thrill in the world seeing a new lineup right in front of you.
Scooped up Double J, Mark Henry, Marc Mero, Steve Blackman and Owen that day. Thanks for the memories, Kmart in Linden, NJ.

Towards the end my Kmart was getting old merchandise in. It was like going a step backwards in direction. I remember them getting in the previous years Hot Wheels cars for some reason. I was just in a Kmart a few months ago. I saw the prices for an elite figure and they are $25 each. To quote Rain Man, Kmart Sucks

The way I see it, you guys are extremely lucky to have had Toys R Us at all. Me, I started collecting right when TRU went out of business. So I never once got to experience walking into a TRU and seeing a wall full of amazing figures like you guys did. But I wish I could have, even once. But my entire collection has been based on Target, WM, RSC, and eBay.
