Seth Rollins is in the same category as Ric Flair, Randy Orton and HHH. They are guys who were born to be heels and it's when they're at their best. Back when Rollins turned face in 2016 I knew it was a bad idea because it was robbing him of all character and taking him out of his comfort zone. Not only that he looks like a heel too and has felt out of place since he turned.
As a heel he stood out as a star and his mic work was awesome, especially when he insulted the crowd. It's a shame because he busts his ass every week and is a complete workhorse but his face character is ruining all of his hard work.

I personally think he's doing fine at the moment. If they turn him heel the only ones who will be happy are the cool kids who only cheer heels.

Whilst I would NEVER put Seth in the same category as Flair, HHH and Orton in terms of being great heels, his face runs have always sucked.

Seth Rollins has taken Roman Reigns place as being WWE's guy, I don't see WWE turning him heel anytime soon. I wish they turned Reigns heel for once, it'd be a refresh to his character.

He for sure is a natural heel. Although WWE is for sure moving him in as the guy. Unless, he's just keeping stuff warm till Roman Reigns ''dilemma'' is fixed. I prefer him as heel, but I am not utterly opposed to him as face.

He's not a very good heel. His whole act is movezmovezmovez to get pops, which is better suited to a babyface wrestler.

When he's a face, people want him to be a heel. When he's a heel, people want him to be a face. Why is that? Because people begin to think he will be better if he turns. However, that's never the case. He may look like a heel, but he wrestles like a face, and has the personality of neither. He's the hot girl that you always thought you wanted to date, until you do, and then you wondered why you ever wanted to date her to begin with.
Not since Randy Orton has there been a talent so capable of great matches, but so boring(at least to me) at the same time.

When the Shield was a thing, I thought he'd be the stand out baby-face. As it turns out they were spot on to have him be the one turn heel as it was the run of his career.

He’s just having a 1996 HBK run right now. He’s the best worker of his era, and that’s why he’s wearing the title, but the audience is stirring because the overall product is bad, or rather uninspired is probably a better word. So Wyatt will get cheered the same way Sid got cheered.
I would like to see him heel again but I’m not in any rush to see it. I think when it happens we’ll be looking at prime Seth Rollins. He’s as polished as he’s ever been, as confident in the ring and on the mic, and when the creative material is good for him then it’s going to be the best we’ve ever seen him. Top babyfaces don’t have any layers, though, and he’s still finding success in that better than anyone since Punk imo. Punk was unquestionably a better heel than face, but still a great face, and I think Rollins is in the same category. Great is great.

i feel this branding of making them 'heels' and 'faces' is like stepping into a time machine in a bad way.
just give me compelling characters that have a feud that has a palpable story to it. we get one of those a year maybe.

Lol his 2015 heel run was terrible. I remember plenty of people on here clamoring for him to drop the title by the summer due to him being a lame heel.
He’s just not FOTC material as a face or heel. I think Seth is a great upper midcarder who can carry the IC division and occasionally main event, but he’s just not the guy to build a company around. Fans boo’d him out of the building against Strowman, and that was far from the first time that fans have turned on a PPV match featuring Seth Rollins.

Seth is weird. His music hits and people go crazy and cheer. Then 1/2 through his match hes getting booed. Sometimes I feel like they're just pairing him up against a solid heel. Braun is over. Bray is over. So jesus getting mixed reactions against them. However he was getting cheered against Corbin. Every protagonist needs and antagonist.

Seth's been a babyface since he returned against Triple H, hasn't he? Shame, he's a much better heel and I haven't cared about him since he was WWE Champion.

its not about turning heel. every babyface that struggles to get cheers shouldnt just "turn heel". wrestling fans are so reliant on the whole turning heel aspect, but then what? he turns heel and feuds with Braun? Wrestling is at its best when there is a mega face champion defending his title against legit bad guys.
the problem is the WWE doesnt book top heels properly anymore, maybe AJ a little bit. but you cant just have Rollins v AJ for the year. They tried with Corbin and it should have worked but then the story got so all over the place nobody cared. Plus they haven't given Rollins a really good direction or story. He's just "hai I'm Seth, I wrestle Good and Burn It Down! oh I'm getting married to Becky too, did you know she's the most historic woman ever in wrestling? yep. Burn it Down!"
Rollins chasing the title was good for him, it gave the fans a reason to care about him. Once he has it they haven't given him any credible threats outside of AJ and that lasted one PPV. He shouldn't be wrestling Braun (who is over as a face) and/or being a throwaway tag team champion with him for one PPV. They sacrificed a top heel stable in The Club to get the tag belts on two babyfaces only for them to lose in one match at a PPV then wrestle each other the same night. The WWE always takes crap and runs it into the ground. and in the process they kill off fan interest in their top guys.
Seth is starting to get booked and talked about the way Roman was. He's this invincible guy who gets beat up all match but hits 15 high spots and wins. Now he is just REALLY good at wrestling but you cant force feed the same match over and over again to the same audience without it getting tired and stale.

It really was, he played the perfect cowardly heel champion with The Authority but people on here complained about him being booked weak as if heels are expected to go over clean 🤦🏽♂️

No
Y’all are being fickle. But at the same time I think WWE is usually late to the game when it comes to capitalizing on someone’s momentum. When Seth came back from his injury 3 years back he was white hot, everyone was ready for him to be a babyface yet they didn’t pull the trigger. After he beat Hunter he was pretty over, then nothing, they didn’t put him in a world title program for 2 years. He still is over, but they don’t give you compelling stories to care.

To be fair you could say that about anyone on the roster and the blame shouldn't fall on a worker like Seth. If someone like Aleister Black, Ricochet or even Nakamura was being booked like Seth people would still complain.

I actually enjoyed his heel run and don’t mind his current face run as Champ tbh. When he first turned face I hated it but now it’s all good... I would say he does need a bit of seriousness and edge to his character though.
