Let’s all take a second to appreciate just how terrible this figure really is. It still blows my mind that someone let this happen.

Jakks really would do us dirty at times.

Jeremy said he had to cut corners on some of the other figures in that wave in order to add more detail to the Ultimate Warrior and Bret Hart figures. Without CS1 Warrior, there is no way the series would have taken off.

I don't understand why they couldn't have just given it black boot covers if they couldn't do purple. At least that would've looked alright, white makes absolutely no sense.

Without CS1 Warrior, there is no way the series would have taken off. I remember hearing this a while back and I do understand. I can forgive the fact that it’s a TTL (and I can forgive Jakks for making Andre an R3 Big Show) but those boots just kill it for me. And the worst part is that it’s actually a good fig from the knee up. I just painted the boots when I got it and it was fine but whenever I see this MOC it always makes me sigh. It seems like such a simple fix. We did get some pretty awesome figs from CS1 though and it did launch one of the best figure series ever so I’m still grateful.

Those were going for high prices on Ebay back then.

How much is it going for today? Sorry too lazy to check. Even though the fig is hideous I'm sure most of us here bought him😂. I got him loose a few years ago at the flea market for $3

Once Mattel started making a legends line, Jakks should have required to issue full refunds to anyone who purchases their classics figures. They were nice at the time but Mattel far outdid Jakks. For as anal as Vince McMahon has been described it shocks me he allowed WWF/E to do business with Jakks for so long while they continued to cut corners and misrepresent what a WWF/E wrestler looked like.

It’s a 16 year old figure... Yea but when you compare it to the other CS1 figs you’ll see how much of a disappointment it was. Plus...I mean...white boots? Come on Jakks!

I hate to agree with you here but...yea. Mattel has far surpassed Jakks in every way.

I got this MOC at a flea market a few years ago when I got back into collecting. It was pretty cheap to I said to myself what the hell.
Definitely up there as far as bad Taker figs go though.

It's a carryover from the change Jakks was going to be incorporating into the Famous Scenes line, where the two packs would become a "Then & Now" sort of thing. The first set was intended to be Rocky Maivia/The Rock, Hunter Hearst Helmsley/Triple H, and Phenom Undertaker/ABA Undertaker. The sets were poised to be released at the peak of the Real Scan TTL modeling, but by the time they were ready, Jakks had begun moving to the RA style, and they were scrapped. The figure actually predates CS Series 1 by a good 2-3 years.

that Triple H head was used on the Evolution boxset and the Off the Ropes equal that had the poledancers included on the logo, right? it's spot on, for almost any era where he's clean shaven

It would have been a fine figure with the right colour boot covers, but why white? So strange.
