Out of those 9, Tom Phillips is better than 6 of them... Maybe 7.
Bringing King back is just hilarious.

I’m not familiar enough with the raw team, but lawler with two younger guys may not be that bad.
nxt has their craptogether
I will watch smackdown only on mute apparently. Pretty happy they put their three worst commentators on the same show.

Because it's 1999 still apparently. But seriously, it's because AEW was interested in him. So Vince probably figured better put him on the commentary booth again. I'm not overly critical of anything wrestling related, but 3 hours of Lawler on commentary on Mondays will drive me away from Raw. Vince should have let him go.

Not a big fan of the RAW commentary team. Vic Joseph is good, hes improved a lot this last year or two. I haven't heard Dio Maddin long enough or feel hes been here long enough to commentate RAW. Jerry Lawler, well i havent enjoyed his commentary since 2007-2008, though when he was on SD with Mauro at first, he wasnt bad. I judge more once i hear them. They might surprise us. We already know what we have with the only two teams

King is honestly baffling. It's embarrassing enough listening to him on pre shows, struggling to get his unfunny/inappropriate jokes out with everyone else awkwardly laughing. I can't handle that cringe for 3 hours weekly.

damn im not a fan of these changes at all. like, if you're going with this new fresh show on FOX why not change THAT up completely.
i guess Heyman hand-picked the new RAW guys, its just really weird to me. time will tell but for now, i dont like the lineups

If the rumors of Paul hand picking the commentators is true, I suspect he'll do something similar with the roster. Trade guys like Braun & Lashley for guys like Black & Murphy.

Yeah I like Vic Joseph a lot. Thought his Tweet to Tom was pretty fantastic, too.
King is weird but if he's a temporary fill-in then so be it. Dude is almost 70 though and doesn't bring a whole lot to the product in 2019. I honestly would have liked to see them do kind of a revamp of the King idea and add a younger legend to the table. Someone like Christian would be awesome if he was willing to take on the role.

Why is Smackdown becoming the A show?

Why is Smackdown becoming the A show? Since it is now on FOX in the US, Vince seemingly wants to put the "best foot forward" for the larger number of possible viewers, with the broadcast channel being accessible to even the lowest cable and dish tiers, and free over-the-air antenna users.

Why is Smackdown becoming the A show? 'Cause Fox gave Vince a billion dollars for the rights to air it.

No doubt Smackdown will be positioned as the A-show for a bit now. It being on network TV is a huge deal for WWE.
Prichard says they felt the same way when it premiered on UPN which was a broadcast network too. Their intentions were for it to become the Ashow then, but I don't know. UPN probably didn't reach many more wrestling fans than USA did.

[ Cause USA couldn’t afford both with the expected rights fees going up and they feel like RAW is their show so they stuck with Raw and let them take offers for Smackdown.

From what I heard, I am borderline in love with the new Raw announce team. Loved hearing the King again and Vic is really good.
I am so sick of Michael Cole. And all respect to Renee Young, but every time it sounds more like she is just chiming in than actually contributing. Third wheeling hard. Beth Phoenix does a way better job on NXT.
But I personally don't like 3 person announce teams. Very rarely do all three mesh well. And there is always someone just yelling for no reason (Ranallo!!).

Should've put Nigel on RAW. Who in the blue hell, is Dio Maddin?
