Jeff Hardy’s gear was only three or four colors and covers his tattoos. Batista’s tattoos alone are like ten different colors. I’m not gonna pretend I know a lot about the costs of this stuff but Bill did say Alicia Fox’s hat in the Survivor Series set cost more than some entire figures so who knows. If there’s a noticeable lack of cloth in E73 as well then I’ll panic Good points. I love all the soft goods we have been getting this year I really hope it continues. Nothing has changed regarding us doing soft goods. Bill can utilize soft goods as he sees fit as long as the wave is within budget.

The 3rd times the charm when they do this again. The Survivor Series figures didn't really work out as planned, someone released The Dreams pictures a little early, but next time, they will get it right. Ali’s fig was pulled off without a hitch.

I'd bet Mattel cant even use the Hollywood attire for Dream because of Hogans deal with storm collectables. We can do it. Just because it wasn’t done here doesn’t mean we won’t do it in the future. It never would have been in this slot anyway. This slot was designated for this gear integration program.

maybe Mattel would do better by being more transparent with the community. like, could they actually just tell us that they are going to start trying to release figures in attires they plan to wear in the future? like, the idea makes perfect sense, i think ryder & hawkins talked about it on a MajorWFpod, the survivor series set, they went to the guys and asked them to plan out their attires for survivor series that year. so when the figures hit shelves it was actually what the guy was wearing at the time the concept is actually great if it works but TELL US YOURE DOING IT don't just leave it up to the imagination mattel is the only company making WWE action figures, i never understood why they are acting like the CIA when it comes to information Definitely gonna have to disagree with you here man. We’ve been more transparent then ever in the last two years. I personally answer questions daily on Instagram, when I can on Twitter and pop in here once in a while. Rob is also really good about answering questions on Instagram. We’re also both active in the Major WF Pod Facebook group. If you have a question, chances are you can easily get ahold of us. If we’re unable to answer, there’s a reason. WWE is ultimately the boss and we work closely with them regarding all reveals and announcements. In the case of Velveteen, the pics leaked early. They should have debuted immediately following the gear’s appearance on TV which would have been a cool surprise. Didn’t work out this time. We are allowed to try to surprise you guys once in awhile. We have also showed you more figs in advance than ever. You know a huge chunk of the figs that are coming well into 2020. Any more and there’s nothing saved for continued excitement and surprises.

Fair point. I do not have or use Twitter & Instagram. So I don't have any connection there. Same goes for the Major WF Pod group, I listen to the 'cast but am not part of patreon. And I understand that they aren't going to give us their planned lineups for the next 2 years, I've always felt the split up reveals over the course of a year are great. I was really only talking about this specific instance which created a problem at first, but has now since been resolved. In this specific example with Dream's attire, the protos were released....but nobody knew it was an "upcoming" attire. If something had been said across all platforms in accordance with the proto that would have avoided anyone complaining or wondering why they chose that outfit for him. Now if the proto wasn't supposed to be released, that's on a different level, but we all can't react based on things like that, we go with what we see at the time. Even when I posted that we didn't know that the proto wasn't supposed to be out OR that Dream was going to wear that outfit literally the next live show. So in reality, I can completely disregard what I posted in relation to this situation. I appreciate the response to it, which is in a weird way exactly what I was talking about in the original post so makes me look like a fool for posting it

The Dream is still an odd choice. Commemorating a promo from the night AEW debuted?

Becky looks much better in the pics on WWE.com. So does Murphy, the hair and beard and all. Maybe we got bad prototypes? Edit: yep, even the chase Murphy looks better

Holy crap Murphy looks amazing in the new photos. It’s weird that the chase has the correct arm tape and elbow pad and the regular doesn’t. Everyone looks so much better! Damn even Roddy looks better. Wtf were those original proto shots?
