I might be late but I was watching RAW and why.. are the Raw tag team titles using Velcro instead of snap for someone to put the belt on?
Are Mattel making WWE's championship now? lol

Most titles have them now. I hate it I prefer the snaps. I think Ronda was the first to have the Velcro

I imagine it's because the snaps take too long to put on if they want to wear it in the ring or quickly remove it but I agree that the velcro looks very poor.

Somebody mentioned in the RAW thread last night that Randy Savage also used Velcro on his belts.

Looks like crap IMO. The snaps made the belts look legit. This is just lazy unless it was only temporary during a time of multiple title switches. Unfortunately, this is not.

Seth Rollins made mention on it on one of those "Tables for Three". He didn't care for it. It does make the bel...I mean CHAMPIONSHIP look armature.

Velcro is a quick way to make a several thousand dollar championship belt look like a cheap knockoff. Just my two cents.
It's not major, but it's just a small cosmetic thing that seems stupid. Like when the ropes for every show were white a few years ago.

I havent noticed but I always hated how some guys looked cack handed when fiddling with the snappers, weather that be when the belts are hanging above the ring in a ladder match or just around their waist
