The dc line was crap. No one is interested in low end dc figures, that’s the issue. Why would you want mattel to lose the license? We have the best wrestling figures we’ve ever gotten, just because a $20 toy doesn’t meet everyone’s fantasy, doesn’t mean they are doing a bad job I have never said mattels wwe figures where bad quality. In fact I have praised them many times for how good they are. The major issue I have has been the same issue I have always had, distribution. Now combine that with this Chase garbage and it has really put it over the top for me. I want something better and Hasbro seems to be the best option. I have reported many times how easy it has been to buy whole sets and exclusives of marvel legends over the last several months. Now combine all those things with the fact that mattel has been losing lots of money over the last few years. I think Hasbro is on more stable ground. There quality and most importantly availability are better than mattels. I really think its time for a change. People should not have to stalk stores or potentially get into fights with scalpers over these Chase figures. I should be able to just find a figure I want either in store or online with all the bullcrap hassle. Holy hell, calm your tits. Just because you can't find your toy doesn't mean that Mattel should lose their jobs over it; that's a childish mentality to have.

Seeing everyone complain about not being able to find $20 store exclusives
Meanwhile, us international peeps have no choice BUT to pay $50+ for these most of the time.
Hell, here in Australia, normal Elites are $30 in stores... (Last time i checked, Basics were $20) Half of you would probably lose your mind if Walmart etc, started charging $30 for Elites.
I already know i'm gonna have to pay around $80+ just to get a Kassius Ohno.

I have stumbled upon four Sonya figures and three Liv figures between a few Targets and each time it was after 4:30 in the afternoon. Actively searching 6 Walmart I never once saw the Worthy Captain America and only say the 80th Anniversary on the pegs once going to the store as soon as it opened.
And the reason they lost the DC license was because they didn’t really care about it. The four horsemen made plenty of comic based figures that never made it to production because one the DCUC line ended they really just focused on the movie lines. It was only after they lost the license did they start back making comic based figures. The last few waves of Multiverse has been their best dc figures since about the final few waves of DCUC.
The new Alfred figure is a figure everyone was asking for and they were banking that with the extra ‘66 Batman and movie Alfred heads the collectors would be buying multiples. And that’s what many said they were planning to do, but I knew it wouldn’t be the case unless you had the Neca West and Keaton Batman figures. Because if you didn’t that Alfred figure is way out of scale to fit with the Mattel ‘66 line or the Kilmer Batman figures. So unless there’s kids who want ti build the Croc there will be a lot of Alfred, Katana and KGBeast figures hanging on the pegs.

i actually deem them a HUGE success so there's that one for you boys S A M E Mattel has created a veritable F R E N Z Y over characters that would never draw the demand that they have at normal packing and distribution levels...but slap a Special Edition banner across the box, and suddenly, Mattel is 1997 Tyco Toys pitching us a new and improved Tickle Me Elmo every month or so, and we're lapping it right up. They had three of these things planned at launch, and we're now, what? Nine deep, going on eleven? Haha, yeah. As long as we keep chasing them, (and for every one person who says they're done, you've got five who are gonna keep going) these aren't going anywhere.

I'm keeping him boxed up until I can chance a Briscoe. If I can find one at retail, I'll pop open the Stooges and put 'em up for display. If not, I'll toss Pat up on eBay and see if I can't make a quick buck off someone with a Briscoe looking to complete the set. I ain't above it - Pete Dunne, Alex Wolfe, and Sensational Sherri all teamed up with some of my old Marvel Legends to pay for this silly little out of production light thing my wife needed for a K-Pop concert I took her to, and a pair of tickets to last week's AEW show.

The exclusives arent bad it's just the distributions that's terrible. Some states or country seem to get more figures then other....
Australia, why you keeping getting figures but people in Europe struggle?
Distribution issues!

Quit with that internet fan bias.

Really, anyone bummed that they'll be able to get one of the highly demanded figures at the lower price point is welcome to do the same. DM me for them PayPal D E E T S.

We can debate, but Bill has explained that Shinsuke Nakamura is in the Ultimate line because he started work on that figure when Nakamura was coming off a Wrestlemania World title shot against AJ Styles and that you can do his wacky poses with the extra articulation.

I hate these Chase exclusives with every fiber in my being.
Scalpers are loving them and having a field day.
Thank you Mattel for creating this unnecessary and terrible environment.
Paige and Ohno going for 800% markup on eBay right now.
Yes I am going to keep posting on this thread to show this is ridiculous.

As others have said, people getting Maximus Buttimus Hurtimus about figures of obscure characters shows that this chase concept is working.
