I can’t believe they follow up with one of their worst PPV matches to date with another subpar episode. You should have pulled out all stops tonight but instead we get Lana in bed with Lashley while Rusev watches and a brawl between Tyson Fury and Strowman which does nothing for absolutely anybody.

The WWE Universe fans who continue to support WWE after continually getting slapped in the face and spit upon are part of the problem. It was less than a year ago where the WWE brain trust came before the audience and apologized, acknowledged they messed up and said they will listen to us. They said WE ARE THE AUTHORITY. They said they will give us more of what we want.
Here we are, a matter of months later, and nothing has really changed. All that's really changed is there is another wrestling promotion on primetime on another major cable station on another night. And Smackdown is on FOX now. That's about it.
I see BS like #CancelWWENetwork trends on Twitter. I've seen that happen half a dozen times before. These sycophants act offended and say they are done with WWE and never coming back, but they don't commit to that. They keep returning to WWE like an abuse victim because WWE is still the biggest game in town with the biggest names.
When WCW did this to their audience, people tuned out in droves. Their business went down the toilet. When TNA did this in 2006, ratings fell 50 percent. What did they do then? Hire Russo back on the creative team and things only got worse from there.
The fans are partly at fault for this trash.

I just watch old RAW matches and WWE Network instead of RAW. It just isn't entertaining anymore.

I enjoyed Raw. People exaggerate how bad WWE is.

Am I the only one that's over those pull-apart, then breakout, then pull-apart again then breakout AGAIN ect brawls?
I mean, its WWEs counter to a bad show EVERY TIME, literally every time in the last 5 years when they've had a critically bad show the next Raw they have had one of these. Its soooo past it now, we've seen it a million times.

The fans are partly at fault for this trash. I agree that fans keep tuning in, which is a major problem, but another issue is that there was no other alternative for so long. There’s a lot of wrestling fans over the past 20 years who didn’t have access to another promotion. When WCW and TNA crapped in their beds, the fans could turn to the WWE to get their wrestling fix. That wasn’t an option for the longest time so fans would keep tuning back in to scratch their wrestling itch. This is why I think it’s so important to support AEW. We need competition. It’s what made Vince finally step out of the New Generation and into the Attitude era. If AEW can grow over time and really spooke Vince, things will likely change for the better like they did before.

OH MY GOD FURY PULLED THOSE PUNCHES SO BAD Yes that was pretty bad, but no worse than what Riddle a couple weeks ago on the USA NXT debut or Ambrose did his whole WWE career especially during his Brock feud buildup.

Wrestling has ALWAYS used celebrities. Muhammad Ali, Mr T, Lawrence Taylor, Mike Tyson, & Floyd Mayweather have all played a part in WWE at some point. wCw had Dennis Rodman & Karl Malone in high profiled matches as well. If you don't like it, or at least understand it, seems to me you're watching the wrong programming.

Don’t forget Andy Kaufman. And the only one that ever bothered me was David Arquette.

I Don’t Care About Celebrity Athletes Celebrity athletes were a hallmark of the war between WWE and WCW.

That 6-man was great. Can Kalisto be the next challenger to AJ Styles and the United States Championship?

I don't care what anyone says, Stephen Amell was ing awesome at SummerSlam and All In. I enjoyed the Arquette stuff. I still, unapologetically, absolutely love that Ready to Rumble match from Slamboree. I literally had no idea who Tyson Fury was and I haven't thought about Velasquez since the fights with dos Santos prior to him showing up in WWE. I loved Ronda, though. So it's all relative.

So we have Velasquez and Fury on each show in the closing segment.
I really hope this is just to draw eyes on the product, but it has NO business being the closing segment on RAW. That was awful.

Again to me, these "celebrity" angles and appearances mean something a little different when the particular person is actually a FAN of the business or the WWE in general. Because to me they arent doing it just to try and promote themself or some other stupid thing, they are doing it because THEY want to.

If you don't like it, or at least understand it, seems to me you're watching the wrong programming. Yeah, I get that Marino. But look at those names Mr. T was during the height of his popularity. Ali was the greatest. Mike Tyson was one of the most controversial athletes and infamous athletes at the time and you didn’t know what he might legit do. There was a legit sense of danger.(coming at a time when he bit Holyfield’s ear off,I remember watching that fight at a friends) Rodman was the Bad boy of Basketball and on basically America’s team when it came to basketball, Him and Malone just came off of an awesome, legendary, hard fought, intensely contested (even though it only went 6 games because Red number 23 pulled out one last bit of magic out of his repotoire.) finals where they were opposing power forwards (Also Malone was MVP and one of the 5 best players in the game at the time) so that was still fresh in people’s minds. Those guys IMO were level above Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez. And in Cain’s case, none of them were going for the company’s biggest belt without even having a singles match EVER! I don’t like dogging WWE, I wouldn’t have watched it non stop, good and bad, since 1985 if I did. This crap is like a marriage almost haha, But I’m always rooting for them to turn it around . I felt that they were Friday Night until about 9:50 and I felt that way again Sunday night until about the middle Of the main event. It’s not the celebrities. It’s what they do with them and how they use them against their own talent. Those celebs go home at the end of the Angle...that Sunday or whatever the blowoff is at andnthey are back doing what they do. But the guy they just worked with (unless it’s Brock) has to be there Monday or Friday (or who knows, maybe Wednesday) and they have to try to continue to get themselves over. THOSE are the people I’m concerned for. Do you know what I mean? I love wrestling,’and WWE introduced it to me allllllllll those years ago, I’m legit concerned for it as far as I can be to a healthy degree as a lifelong hobby)

To be honest, I never even heard of Tyson Fury till last Friday. But the fight from last night already has 2,703,405 views. Cain attacking Lesnar on Friday has 8,053,444 views. So while we can all sit here and say we don't want to see it, clearly others do. We could all say those other celebrities had more name value, but the views show it's doing exact what they intended for it to do.
I agree that talent shouldn't be asked to put someone from outside the business over. But it's not like they're asking Braun to make Seth Green look credible. Fury is a heavyweight champion. Cain has a victory over Lesnar in UFC. Both guys are legit.
