I'm interested to see how they handle the roster. There might be a handful of people still under contract. But at this point a lot of their pre-COVID roster has moved on, and I can't see a ton of talent out there with all the signings WWE, AEW, and Impact have made.

Alot of the core roster is gone. Which sucks. Im sure if pandemic never happened, they would still have those individuals.

But looking at is from a more positive angle, Billy built a really interesting roster who have obviously moved on to success in other companies. While a reset isn't ideal, it could provide a platform for some new talent. It might be an unpopular opinion, but I'd love to see Enzo and Cass in NWA. In a studio environment, I could see Enzo being absolutely dynamite, and it was never a "workrate" show even though there were solid matches.

Those guys would be solid grabs for them to pad their roster. I think it'll be tempting for them to bring back Marty too, but it'd be wise for them to wait and see what kind of blowback NJPW will get first.

Totally agree about Enzo and Cass.
It would be a solid platform for them to showcase if they can still do some good things with a springboard to going back to WWE if they wish.

Who do they have left? Aron Stevens, Nick Aldis, Elijah Burke, Tim Storm, Trevor Murdoch, and Kamile?
I'm happy to hear they're still doing things, but that's going to be a hell of a short ppv.

Pretty bold strategy to go with a PPV with zero build to it.

Sounds like the Axe Man is gonna be in the NWA restart. Be interesting to see if Axel just is the same ole guy outside the WWE.

Curious if they try to pull the trigger on the villain. He's worked with them before too. The audience is so small he might be able to survive there without getting run out

I think he is gone for awhile! I mean if he can’t get away from New Japan. I sadly think he is either gone for good or it’s gonna be a long time. Sadly I think only the AEW fan base could be the ones to accept him back. Like if Khan and the elite said let’s give this guy a second chance then maybe that fan base would be accepting.

I'd lose my mind if Omega or Moxley did a run-in at the end. Then I might start watching again.

I’m not trying to be a jerk but man these talent roster reveals are not doing them any favors! Are these literally the best names they can find? Tyrus? Joe Henning to do the millionth “I was held down now see what I can do promo?” At the moment Aldis and Rosa are the only people annouced who have any actual star power in 2021.

All he has to do is deny everything and I'm sure things will blow over. Based on where he's been working for the past few years, I'm sure some skills have rubbed off on him...
