Yeah, he's listed at 8 inches on the pre-order page. I'm still going to hope for these to be scaled with the elites. I believe they are going to end up being a tad bit bigger than Elites. I live in San Francisco and during a recent trip to their store I talked to the rep about this line. My take away is the NJPW figures are going to be in the 7in scale just like all of their recent and upcoming lines: MOTU, Thundercats, TMNT etc..

This may have been asked and I'm asking because I saw detailed photos of the supr 7 Andrew the giant figure and he only had a single jointed knee (like wwe basic series, not the double jointed knee like the elites) My question is if the series one (Tanahashi, osprey, okada and iishi) Will have the single or double jointed knees?

Is that André in scale with the others? It looked gigantic probably in scale in theory with the NJPW guys. if he's the same height as them, that would be hilarious

Apparently the reason the actual figures weren't shown at Toy Fair is they're still waiting on final approvals from New Japan. If that's the case, New Japan themselves are going to be a huge problem going forward for this line. If you recall, the article revealing what the figures actually looked like was posted, and then had to be taken down due to Super7 not getting some approval from New Japan, and then was reposted the next day before preorders went up.

But super7 making a deadline was a long shot in the first place.

Yeah, I'm looking on the bright side -- for all of the potential issues the NJPW office might bring, hopefully something like Tanahashi towering over Okada can be fixed with the extra time.
I do worry about this line falling through the cracks a bit, however, because AEW absolutely stole all the buzz last weekend, plus Mattel/Boss Fight/etc ... it would certainly be helpful if Super 7 came through with some fresh buzz in the near future.

I think AEW landing the deal they did at the price point they have has some potentially interesting effects on Boss Fight and Super7. Boss Fight in particular because now their first series that they'd been hyping since last year is now being released in that AEW line at a lower price point and, frankly, similar if not higher quality in terms of the figures themselves. For Super7, now there's another line aimed at basically the exact audience that would be interested in the New Japan line and again, that line is lower price and more articulated and will be available at mass retail and also had a massive showing at NYTF. Obviously not everyone interested in buying the New Japan stuff will be interested in the AEW stuff and vice versa, but there's a gigantic amount of overlap when it comes to people interested in those two particular brands. Maybe one of the things waiting approval was Tanahashi being re-scaled. I'd certainly hope so.

It was the approval for the entrance gear. They mentioned it during Pixel Dan's interview with Super7.
I hope these are still close to the WWE figure scale. Still looking forward to Tanahashi and Okada that I have for pre order though. I still might order the other two.

Sorry if this has been answered repeatedly, but has there been any confirmation on scale? Ringside has them listed at approximately 7 inches, which is standard for Super 7, but I've seen other places list them as 6 inches.
Edit: I see that they've been confirmed as 7 inches, well that's disappointing for me personally. Still might keep my pre order because of how good they look, but it's certainly curbed my excitement a bit.

I took that as refering to articulation, because if they're 7 inches it won't scale properly. Especially since the AEW figures are 6 inches and Mattel is all over the place. Don't get me wrong, it's not a knock against the figures. They're their own line and thus have no obligation to scale to a competitive line of figures. I just hope that at the very least they're properly scaled to one another, and last I saw that wasn't the case since Tanahashi was taller than Okada in figure form. As an example, in this picture Batman and Superman are 7 inches, so this is what Tanahashi should look like in comparison to two different Mattel bucks.

We haven’t heard from TJ in here for awhile. Are these figures in scale with the other companies lines like Mattel, Jazweres, Boss Fight, etc? I read they may be taller (7”). Has there been enough sales/interest to warrant producing the next couple of series? Thanks

Hey guys just joined this thread very excited about this line I don’t think any body has asked this but are these going to be available in stores or not ? Cause I normally don’t buy stuff online I just buy stuff in stores I don't believe so. From my understanding they only make what is ordered. They had pre-orders open for the whole month of November I think it was, so however many orders they took then is what they will make. Or a place like Ringside, they probably ordered a certain number to sell themselves, so then that amount will also be made for Ringside to have.
