Lmao did they seriously mess up the belts? How the hell does that happen? Wrong colour plates for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and both missing deco hits. Considering the price point for these figs that's unacceptable. Disappointed that Brian completely ignored the belt issues during his unboxing

I like the MajorPod guys, but lets be honest, they're gonna do whatever they can to promote how great Super7 is until their figures come out, and if god forbid something is slightly wrong with those, maybe they'll finally go off on how ugly some of these are.
With that being said, I will get Naito. I was already passing on BUSHI cause I don't care about him, no Daryl with Hiromu and EVIL not being a big priority for me and I'm glad it's going to save me some $. Just glad I didn't pre order these whenever they first went up.

I have all of the first set. A lot of the soft goods are cool, but the figures are cheap as can be. Not to mention the articulation sucks and all of the hands are ridiculously skinny at the wrists. Scales all over the place too.

I just seen Brians unboxing video and I will say I am a bit disappointed with how they turned out still. Can't believe the belts didn't get fixed, but they are somehow even worse with no paint detail and a the Heavyweight title is silver. The interchangeable heads still have long necks and lack accessories for Hiromu is very awful (been reading that the license for Daryl was the reason for him being left off which sucks). I kind of wish Brian wasn't so nice I guess in his unboxing, but like others said we know the reason why. Btw weird how the fourth head for Bushi was changed.

I find the belt issue to be annoying, but luckily I have Tanahashi and Okada so I've already got the belts.

what should the actual height comparison of Naito and Okada be?
Naito is probably around 3/4 inches smaller than okada are we really complaining about a quarter of an inch height difference or did you mean 3 to 4?

Has anyone posted any reviews yet? I want to like these and buy these to support more NJPW figures, but I don't like what I got with series 1, and I'm not liking what I'm seeing with series 2. Any word if series 3 is going to happen?

I love my Series 1 and from the pics/videos I'm seeing I think Series 2 looks even better. Guess I'm in the minority there lol

I love series 1 and series 2 looks amazing in the unboxing I watched. Naito might have the best set of accessories I've ever seen.

Like series 1 these could look a lot better, but again people are missing the point of the cost. Saying they should be $20 like elites, the thing is they aren’t mass produced, the higher cost partially comes from the lower production numbers. They have to sell at a higher cost to offset the price. Sure they could be a lot better but when the alternative is not having any NJPW guys in fig form that is close scale to WWE/AEW, than I think they are worth the more premium cost. Plus these are relatively cheap compared to high end figures from other brands like Mezco or Mafex, albeit those are higher quality They could be better, but I’m just happy they are making them. I hope the series last a long time and we get figures of guys like Jay White, KENTA, Suzuki, ZSJ, etc. I will be ordering the whole set when they get in stock at ringside, I don’t love all the figs but I know I’ll regret not having them one day, and the more full the roster the better

The series 1 Tanahashi was one of my favorite figures of the year, though that's the only one I have. Watching the Meyers video from the second set, I'm considering the Naito. Not sold on any of the others.

Do people still seriously not get that the heads that sit higher are made like that on purpose to look better with the entrance gear? That's not me trying to defend S7, there's a bunch of stuff about these figures to complain about, that's not one of them.

We are not saying they SHOULD be $20. We understand why they are more.
But you can't ignore that you're getting a worse quality figure than you are for $20 at Mattel. That's just a fact. If people decide it's still worth it, that's fine.
But for $45, Super 7 has delivered a MUCH better product that is worth that price for different lines...

I have the figure but can’t look at the moment. It seems like the heads they used were opposite of what they should have been if memory serves. I feel like the attire should be designed better as opposed to having a figure look quite off because of a “feature.” Also, I’m getting a little impatient now. These have popped up in random places and influencers have had them for weeks. At this point, I don’t think there is anyone outside of Minoru Suzuki, Toru Yano, and ZSJ that would make me purchase another NJPW figure from Super 7 ever again.

The closest thing I remember to something like that is that the head meant to be work without the jacket is the more happy/emotive head while the higher one for the entrance jacket is more stoic, and arguably those two could/should have been switched. In concept though, I like the idea. It’s one thing if a figure has one head, but if it can have multiple, then having one made to fit with entrance gear so that said entrance gear can be done right is a good thing.

I hope we get a shipping update for those of us who ordered through ringside within the next week or two. My only problem with the long necks are that most figures in this line usually have two different headsculpts that come with the figures, and if we wanted to display or do photography of a specific one without the entrance gear we are stuck with just the one without the long neck to have it look more natural. If the sculpts were the same on both then it wouldn't be so bad. I just feel like there could have been a better solution to this.
