Secured duplicates thru various sites so I'll be able to have a loose set eventually UPDATE: Inspected both sets tonight except Bushi to see which would serve as my MOC set. Super bummed to see Hiromu's name for a third time instead of Naito. Fearing Super7 messed up, I found it was just a packaging error. Now wondering if I need to track down a proper Naito lol  |

NJPW is returning to AXS TV on January 20th. It would be a great time to announce series 3!

Oof, that is rough...disappointing actually since this Andre is in my wheelhouse of the 3 s7 Andres. But this might have the worst head scans of the bunch.
The body looks really good however and maybe itll be possible to fit the Andre head from the Giant Machine release onto this body.

Picked up Naito, Bushi and Evil at a local comic store a few days ago. Stains on Evil, no entrance mask from the protos with Bushi and Unpainted Hair on Naito are major letdowns considering the price point. I have all of series 1 as well. Hiromu was just way too big of a letdown with the white jacket and the strange way his legs bend. Clearly once again lots of thought gone into these but overall poor execution considering the price and the fact that folks buy based on the protos..

I'm honestly thinking it's dead based on how Super7 handles their other lines. They like to have the next wave announced as the current wave is shipping out. Series 2 has been out for a bit now and still nothing on a potential Series 3. Granted this is purely speculation on my part. |

I can't see it progressing either, Series 2 protos were released in the summer of 2020, you would think protos of series 3 would be shown by now.

I hope to see series 3 soon and with improvements i'm just dreading the increase price tag. I want to see this line continue too tbh, and even though I have my complaints I just want NJPW figures in my collection.

I would have added Minoru Suzuki to that list but it sounds like we are already getting him via RSC.

Just had my Hiromu and Naito figures delivered and I'm really happy with them. The lack of detail on the belts is disappointing but the straps are much better than S1. The skin tones on both figures is a big step up on S1 too. The soft goods clothing is excellent and the head scans are both good.
Bring on S3 and hopefully some more improvements!

If wave 3 was happening we would have heard something by now, I feel like S7 has bigger licenses to deal with now and have quietly let this line die.

Not sure why, but Storm doing Suzuki and the recent Chella Jay White make me think S7 have probably let the NJPW license slip away.
