I think Lanny Poffo could make a cool 2-in-1 figure (like Patterson/Brisco), with Leaping Lanny ring attire and The Genius cap and robe (Sherri style) over top, along with alternate heads (1 with shorter hair/moustache and the other with longer hair/beard). He could also come with a frisbee and the metal scroll, although perhaps that would make it over budget. Thoughts?

I liked Leaping Lanny...He was pretty damn innovative and exciting for 1985/6 WWF. Plus he wrestled more in that character than he did as The Genius.

I wouldn't mind, more interested in the Genius than Leaping Lanny. Hopefully the box would display the Genius instead of Leaping Lanny.

Lanny Poffo was pretty great for a lower card guy. He even deserved better than the position he was in but it was great he was able to reinvent himself and gain even more fame with the Genius character.

Leaping Lanny was very basic and so, if that character was produced, that is where it would land - in the basics. The Genius, however, could come complete with his hat and robe and scroll. It would make a great addition to the Golden Era collection as a chase elite.

The Genius is my most priced Jakks figure and is my most wanted Mattel figure. To all his competition and to every wrestling fan, he isThe Genius Lanny Poffo, the worlds smartest man!

Huge no for leaping Lanny. Huge yes for the genius.
I would want a molded robe like the king harley race figure instead of cloth. I would want a trademark genius expression on his face like wide eyes and smirk. The question would be what color robe and mortar board hat. I think the jakks figure was red so maybe orange? Blue?

Yeah, Leaping Lanny was the first guy I ever saw doing Moonsaults and I got to meet him around that time period too. Having said that-if it was one or the other-I'd rather have him as the Genius lol.
