Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think ANY title has ever changed hands in Saudi Arabia. I doubt they'd start now, especially something as big as this. They're just there for the money. I've heard Cain has picked up wrestling extremely well though. However, I would totally agree that it would be ridiculous for him to win it in his first match. If he comes in and impresses though, I'd have no problem with him winning it some point down the line. They've compltely booked themselves into a corner (AGAIN) if that is the plan. You can't have him lose his first match. I see it ending in a DQ or something. Technically the Raw Tag Team Championships changed hands at Greatest Royal Rumble. But, granted, the titles were vacant beforehand.

No way the match goes longer than 45 seconds. I see the WWE going very UFC with this.

With the guys from UFC/who did MMA in general, it's always going to be high, high, high, fast, fast, fast, in terms of push. Main events, world title runs, everything else from the point of debut going forward. Rousey, Lesnar, Velasquez, name your poison. WWE thinks it brings in cash (and maybe it does, I'm no analyst), and until that view dissipates this is just going to go on without stop.
If it really DOES bring in cash, and I'm a worker, then my mindset has to be, "The company will now have more money to pay me more." So, it's not all a bad thing.

I think they have something good going with the backstory between the 2, but the angle and match should be built up, not fasttracked in under a month. If this is Cain Velasquez's first match in the WWE and he is getting a title shot, they booked themselves into a corner. Thats why I think Cain should get a match before taking on Brock Lesnar.

I agree 1000% percent. The WWE made the whole Kofi has been in the WWE for 11 years before he got his big chance storyline but Cain just walks in and gets a world title match RIGHT AWAY?? That's asinine. The WWE made a production of Shawn Michael's 12 year journey during Mania 12 etc. Morale has to be even lower with crap like this.

What I can’t get my mind around is Kofi suffers the biggest loss of his career as he got murked and lost his title in less than 8 seconds. then the next week Kofi proceeds to act like nothing happened as he throw around pancakes. They’re really about to put the WWE title in an old UFC fighter who isn’t even really a big deal. this company

The WWE title did not need to be involved in this feud.

The best way to make your employees happy is by having the guy who's done absolutely nothing for or in your company, instantly get a match for your most prestigious title That'll keep that employee morale level at an all-time high!

Cain walking in and getting a WWE title shot just mirrors WCW's faults when Arquette walked in and became champion.

Yes. It is the battle of the tough guys. WWE writers have been watching No Holds Barred.

The same place where Shane McMahon was declared best in the world.

Cain walking in and getting a WWE title shot just mirrors WCW's faults when Arquette walked in and became champion. I'm not a fan of this storyline at all, but there is a big difference as at least Cain Velasquez is a legitimate, credible athlete. However, it is never a good thing when your company is drawing comparisons to the dying days of WCW.

I’m sure Lesnar is coming out on top anyways. What I do wanna see is Lesnar vs Rey for the WWE Title.

I actually had someone at work ask me about this match and how to watch it? So I mean it has brought attention from outside the typical fans.
