It would be absolutely ridiculous if...Brock Lesnar wins. He's never on TV. Plus, a Cain Velasquez figure and a set of Cain Velasquez side plates would be something new.

I really don't want someone who's never wrestled a singles match to win arguably the top belt or most recognized belt in the world. I know Giant did it his first match in WCW, and I didn't like that either (but throughout '94 and early '95 Giant was having matches in what would be comparable to developmental territories while under contract with WCW). I don't like this whole MMA guys going after the Top Pro-Wrestling belt. I suppose if it's going to even bump ratings they'll do it at this point though.

I used to think the way you do. However, at this point in time, I just don't care anymore. It's not like Cain Velasquez is just an old person, or a woman, or a pregnant woman, or a tag team, or a sports commentator, or an NBA player, or a DJ. Point is, Cain Velasquez beat Brock Lesnar in a real MMA fight for the UFC Championship Title Belt. I don't see how having Cain Velasquez defeating Brock Lesnar in a Professional Sports Wrestling Entertainment match for the WWE Championship Title Belt would be bad.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think ANY title has ever changed hands in Saudi Arabia. I doubt they'd start now, especially something as big as this. They're just there for the money.
I've heard Cain has picked up wrestling extremely well though. However, I would totally agree that it would be ridiculous for him to win it in his first match.
If he comes in and impresses though, I'd have no problem with him winning it some point down the line. They've compltely booked themselves into a corner (AGAIN) if that is the plan. You can't have him lose his first match. I see it ending in a DQ or something.

You know the saying:
If MBS's money decrees it, then it shall be done. Lest ye be visited by Saudis carrying hacksaws...

He can’t lose in his first match. I’m guessing they’ll have a DQ or match stoppage or something

Title is a joke, so it doesn't really matter if Cain wins. Had Oldberg come and beat Brock too. WWE will be WWE.

If more bodies of Americans or people that were closely associated with America pop up...will they stop promoting this again and try to quietly put the event on like they did LAST October?

Title is a joke, so it doesn't really matter if Cain wins. Had Oldberg come and beat Brock too. WWE will be WWE. At least Goldberg was a wrestler first...and did mainly wrestling moves. See, it pisses me off, because I know, I KNOW that deep down I know that Brock could use Pro wrestling moves and incorporate MMA into it and PROBABLY STILL have a barn burner with Kofi. In 2012 he came back and showed he still had it...it's just that he refuses to give enough of a crap to have a good match with anybody. He just wants to do that boring suplexes all over the ring, shoot punches, Knees, F5, maybe some MMA submission...I get it "Realism" but I sometimes have to remind everybody. Pro wrestling isn't "Real" in that way. I was a freaking Lesnar MARK from 2002-2004 and loved watching him in OVW in 2000 until his call up. I was freaking PSYCHED when he came back in 2012. A year later still was. It seemed like he just came down with a case of the "Don't Give a "s after breaking the streak. I get it, he's a monster. But still. It's just...it's frustrating guys.

I hope that everyone who said that they were tired of Kofi as champion are happy now.

I hope that everyone who said that they were tired of Kofi as champion are happy now. Sadly I think a few of them had Mr. Garrison's mindset at the very end of this video...SUCH A SMALL minority of them...but some might have had this mindset.

They just want headlines, so he might win, but a non-finish is probably a good bet. Lesnar isn't gonna beat him yet. It should be non-title so that Cain can win and no one would really have a problem with anything. Ultimately, I don't give a sh*t, so I hope Lesnar squashes him lol.

Some people just take to wrestling like a dog does to water 🤷♂️ Early signs suggest there's someone that can genuinely bring something to the WWE, I don't understand why people are crapting all over him already just because "he's a UFC guy." Same with Rousey, I don't care what anyone says, she was a natural in the ring yet people just didn't take to her. At least give the guy a chance.

as usual booking themselves into a small, dark, dirty corner so either it ends in a no-contest and what the is the point, lesnar wins so why do we care about cain? cain wins and " ing seriously...his FIRST match he gets the WWE title?" yeah that will help the cause i just dont understand it. i really done. THIS COMPANY HAS NO RESTRAINT WITH ANYTHING

By all accounts, that video is from his very first match too. Is he a bit wooden? Sure, but he's going to need time to transition into this. He has to get his timing down and practice. Looks pretty good so far though. Seems like he's a naturally gifted talent. I'm interested to see where this goes.
