I though Bischoff wasn’t involved with creative much and was more of a go-between for the WWE and FOX since he’s had a history of dealing with large networks? Either Eric decided the fit wasn’t right and wanted this, or the WWE simply hired him to keep him away from AEW. Eric himself has stated that creative isn’t his strong suit, but production value is where he’s most valuable. I hope they keep him in some capacity because he does has a strong mind for certain aspects of the business. Yeah that's definitely how it had been presented by some, Eric included pertaining to the Fox/WWe liason role. I'm not surprised it didn't work out though from listening to his podcasts. Bischoff had a way of life in Wyoming and was separated from wrestling for a while, but he still has value to the business. Just didn't work out for whatever reason but I know not to believe everything the dirtsheets will report over the next few days.

Dude's keeping it classy, too. Give him time. I bet he'll start spewing fire against the WWE soon.

I am assuming he was promised stuff that wasn't followed threw on and he said screw it and left.No way he moves cross country with his wife for four months worth of work.Guessing that whatever changes he wanted to make to Smackdown be it look,talent,storylines...ect where basically shot down at every turn by Vince & FOX.
This has been a historically bad time for WWE right now and this just adds more fuel to the fire.

Well, no matter what happened here...he's still the all-time greatest GM RAW ever had.

What value to the business does he have other than podcasting and going to conventions?

I called that when I heard Bischoff and Heyman were put in charge of each brand. If the brand fails, it's not Vince's fault, it's the one running the show.... who actually isn't running the show, because Vince still books the show. Now Vince can brag about how WCW wasn't really that great since Bischoff couldn't run Smackdown. How great would it be if Bischoff came out on AEW TV on TNT and say, "I'm back!" Nobody would care. Nobody cares about Eric Bischoff in 2019

“The WWE is stupid for getting rid of Bischoff. He’s the perfect man for the job!”
*Reports are he wasn’t fit for the position.
“Why would they even hire him in the first place? The WWE are so stupid for hiring Bischoff!”

Dude's keeping it classy, too. as a listener of the podcast, that's not too surprising. outside meltzer, bret hart and honky tonk, eric is very gracious to even his past enemies.

Did they ever acknowledge the roles of Heyman and Bischoff on tv before? Because apparently on the Backstage show Trips gave Pritchard the credit for the "blockbuster trade" they've been teasing since the weekend lol

RIP Something To Wrestle 2016-2019 I thought the podcast would end back in February when he rejoined wwe. It's still going with no sign of stopping.

WWE is an absolute mess. For Bischoffs quality of life, this is likely A blessing in disguise.
