If you didn't need more evidence of the fact that this draft was a joke, all the WWE champions were in the draft pool. And yet, Raw women's champion Becky Lynch is drafted to Raw. Smackdown women's champion Bayley is drafted to Smackdown. Universal champion drafted to Seth Rollins is Raw. WWE World champion Brock Lesnar is drafted to Smackdown.
Smackdown tag team champions, Revival, are drafted to Smackdown. Raw tag team champions, War Raiders, are drafted to Raw. Even the un-branded singles title, US and Intercontinental, stayed on the same f'n brands.
What was the point of this draft? Six months after the Superstar Shake-Up. This company is a joke. It's a mess. This draft was horrendous. We are pretty much in 1999 era levels of WCW again. The only difference here is the roster is better and somewhat younger. That's about it.
So what's the f'n point of this draft? Why draft your champions or put them in the pool if they are getting drafted to the same brands? This is ridiculous.

And there will probably be another one post Mania which will make this one even more pointless.
I just couldn't care less about this draft and TBH the current brand split has been a failure.

Champions shouldn't have been eligible. Besides that and the constant shots of the war-rooms, I liked how they did the selections this year. Next time though, focus more on the talent after they've been selected.

I didn't care for them, but they also didn't really affect me all that much. I saw em, thought meh, and then didn't pay much attention to them again.

aEW RuLEZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if you are being sarcastic, it's still nice to watch a wrestling product that doesn't treat wrestling and the fans with such utter contempt.

What I don't get is, why wasn't the WWE Champion and Universal Champion drafted as the first picks for Raw and Smackdown??
For example, if Raw picks Becky Lynch, and I am Smackdown I would pick Lesnar. Then Raw picks whoever they picked, being Smackdown I would pick Rollins. Boom! We got both champions on Smackdown.
This draft was horrendous. The WWE is bad in general. Vince is trying to create a war between Raw and Smackdown, even though every wrestling fan knows the battle is on Wednesday night with AEW vs. NXT.

This was by far the worst draft and in my eyes the worst three week span I've seen from the WWE in the twenty or so years I've been watching.A few more terrible RAW's & Smackdown's and I am out for watching weekly WWE TV.I'll just stick with the PPV's and Takeovers.
The draft made zero sense and while their was some moves did nothing to get your interest back into the product,Steph just reading off names on list with know rim or reason really killed it plus this whole Wild Card rule that's been going on for months.People have been jumping between brands the entire year. The brand split was always a terrible idea to begin with as it just dilutes the product.
If they where real serious about this fresh start and new era NXT & UK should have been apart of the draft and also should have had titles change brands or actually had titles discontinued and new titles brought in.

They should have stripped every champion of their championship so if selected to the other brand the titles would have stayed on their shows. Then after the draft have tournaments for every title on both shows. But I am sure people would complain about that also.

A major issue with this Draft is it's difficult to see what changes will come as a result. Drafts/Shakeups have been done to such a degree there aren't that many fresh matchups out of hand; the majority will have to come from talents being Creatively built up, and there are all sorts or reasons to doubt that ability. There is also the point of PPV's that I assume will continue to be dual-branded, the Saudi show featuring many cross-brand matchups right now and Survivor Series (which it's been said Vince has wanted to move away from the Raw vs. SD! format, but we'll see).
The picks themselves are a huge detracting factor too. Even with the notion of execs using statistical analysis the order is totally wack. Mysterio and Miz should never be considered fifth round picks. Also, what was the thought process of handling injuries. Some like Joe and McIntyre and Elias get drafted, but others like Usos and Naomi are held out completely, not even considered free agents.

The draft was fine. Was it shocking or groundbreaking? No, but it’ll still set up some fresh match ups and hopefully keeps the talent brand exclusive by next week.
AEW is utter crap and Orange Cassidy is nothing but a comedy gimmick that will get stale.
The typical “WWE can’t do anything right” rioters are in here. To no shock whatsoever. Moving on.

WWE generally builds something up and seeming important and exciting, but in reality it really isn't. I guess the big picture is that the Wild Card is over and we'll have exclusive brands again (for how long who knows), which is what we wanted in the first place right?

I was hoping the Universal champion goes to Smackdown and the belt changes to blue.
Liv Morgan and EC3 gets drafted but Matt Hardy doesn't? All of them haven't been used, makes no sense.

Maybe it’s an indicator that Liv and EC3 will be used in some capacity very soon, while there’s no plans for Matt Hardy? I see Matt remaining off TV until Jeff is cleared again. Keeping them both free agents to bring in wherever they’re needed most at that time.

But as much as I never cared for it, I say let him do his Broken gimmick again. It was different and different can be good. When Jeff can return, let him fill up the SD mid-card scene.

For example, if Raw picks Becky Lynch, and I am Smackdown I would pick Lesnar. Then Raw picks whoever they picked, being Smackdown I would pick Rollins. Boom! We got both champions on Smackdown. There are four main titles in WWE - Universal, Raw women’s, WWE, SmackDown women’s. If you draft the other brand’s champion, you risk losing your own champs in their next turn.
