As far as my early picks for the Royal Rumble Match, as far as the men these are the superstars who I think could win it:
- Roman Reigns winning his 2nd Royal Rumble Match putting him in the same league as HBK, HHH, Batista, Hogan and Austin
- Daniel Bryan finally winning a Royal Rumble Match
- AJ Styles
- Drew McIntyre
- The Fiend Bray Wyatt assuming The Fiend enters; then he has to be the favorite
- My last possible pick would be Braun Strowman
As far as the women, my picks as for who could win it:
- Sasha Banks - Bayley assuming she loses the title between now and January
- Ronda Rousey as a surprise entrant/return
- Nia Jax as a surprise entrant/return - Charlotte Flair assuming she is not champion by then

Honestly it's tough, no one is a standout. Braun or Fiend I'd say, though a push Ricochet or even Cesaro but that last one is really just a pipedream on my part

I know I am in the minority here, but I freaking hate having two rumble matches on the card. It takes away what was a once a year special event that the WWE actually stuck to being a once a year special event. Having to sit through two of them greatly takes away the enjoyment for me.
As far as who wins it, I have a feeling it will be Roman Reigns for the men and Charlotte Flair for the women.

I don't think I could guess for the men at this point. They might take a shot in the dark this year like they did with Nakamura a couple of years ago?
For the women I'm almost positive that it will be a returning Rousey.

Men’s - CM Punk or Kevin Owens. Women’s - Shayna Baszler.

What about Kofi? Maybe they avenge his 8 second loss to Lesnar?
Definitely not my first choice, infact of they were going for a New Day member I'd rather have Big E win, but it's something I could definitely see them doing.

In a perfect world, Andrade and Ruby Riott.
More likely, Braun and Ronda.

Men - Drew McIntyre
Women - Rowan... for he will dress in drag and win the event. Rowan vs. Charlotte will headline Wrestlemania for the Raw Women's Title. Once Rowan wins it, he will say, "Now the red brand has a red champion they can be proud of!" He'll do a little dance and twirl, and the fans will be stunned.

Depending on if the damage can be repaired and no further damage done to his character I would say Bray Wyatt. My idea was to have Rollins/Wyatt for the Universal Title at Mania but with WWE blowing their load early on that program and making it god awful I would now in turn go with Brock/Wyatt for the WWE Title instead. Some of the other top matches at Mania would be Becky/Rousey for the Women's Title and depending on how well he does in the next few months Cain Velasquez Vs. Roman Reigns.

I'm gonna go off the board on the men's side and take Aleister Black for the win. Perhaps a pipe dream, but they've been slow-rolling him out, and Heyman likes him, so I could see it happening. If he doesn't I think Drew might be the other. I agree about the whole Cain angle, except I think they'll just end up putting Cain in that slot without having to go through the trouble of actually winning a rumble.
Women's side is a lot tougher, with a Ronda return it's obvious, but without, I think Sasha might be the only feasible option. Charlotte doesn't need to win to get a title shot, she just shows up for one. Similar to Cain I don't see them making her jump through those hoops.

I'm going to say Pete Dunne finally ends up making his main roster debut then goes on to win the Rumble
For the women's Rumble I'm going to say it's either Sarah Logan or Lacey Evans

If it’s a SD guy, I have a feeling it’ll be Reigns. To FOX and the mass audience, he’s the face of the company right now whether we like it or not. Though to WWE’s credit, they’ve done a good job keeping him away from the main event scene this year, but we know that it’s only temporary. I have a feeling we’re getting Brock/Roman 3 at WM (in Vince’s sick mind, this feud is equivalent to Austin/Rock). And as bad as it sounds, I wouldn’t put it past the WWE to pull out the cancer card if fans start booing again. Vince wouldn’t think twice about stooping that low.
I’d go with Bray if he doesn’t take the title from Seth, but we know Vince will never make a gimmick like his the face of his company.
If it’s a RAW guy, it’s harder to determine. I think KO and AJ would be great choices, but they don’t need the rub (especially AJ). I can’t really see anyone else on Raw who could jump to the next level with it. Drew is a possibility, but he needs rebuilding after being booked like crap for months against Reigns.
As for NXT, I don’t see Vince giving a full time NXT guy a Rumble win since it’s still seen as the 3rd brand. Maybe a surprise win from Balor, but I doubt it.

It literally could be anyone. Its almost like the NFL playoffs, sometimes it just depends on if you get hot at the right moment. I can make an argument for and against 5 different men & 5 different women.

Drew or Andrade for men’s unless you want to try someone like Murphy or Ali who I think have a huge future if booked right.
Couldn’t care less about the women honestly.
