Another solid show from AEW this week, but I would say the weakest of the three so far.But AEW is getting better in terms of the pacing of the show and when their taking commerical breaks and doing the split screen action.

I enjoyed it. Womens match was sloppy and the main event was meh IMO.
I think the best thing they have going for them right now is their tag division. I've enjoyed pretty much every tag match AEW put out.

I would agree that it was the weakest of the three, but that really should be the case. They need to be settling into a sustainable week-by-week rhythm, and this felt closer to that. I loved every second, and this felt a lot more like a sustainable product week after week than the first two weeks, which obviously had the stakes raised.
I loved the way they did the Page/Omega vs. Moxley/PAC match.
I agree with the comments about Riho/Britt not having the best timing. My first thought was it was her being used to Stardom style, since Bea had some awkward timing too, but that could also mean it's Britt, since they both were wrestling her. Who knows. I am hoping in future weeks to get a bit more women's action, but their women's roster is really, really weak right now. Missed out on some good signings with Dashwood going to impact and Shotzi heading to NXT.

I'd like to see a little more story development and working some fresh faces onto tv. It was a solid show, but I still feel that some of their midcard matches run too long.
Tonight was a little heavy on tag matches, but that's understandable with the tag tournament. With the number of matches they run each week and the roster size, they're going to run short of match combinations sooner than later. Tags are a nice way to mix it up, but it's a fine line to being overdone.

I would concur, the weakest showing of the three by far for me. Several botches in a few sloppy matches, lack of ref control and loose enforcement of the rules. Santana and Ortiz yelling over the video was more annoying than anything. Cody vignette made no sense, he needs to earn validation for leaving the 'E by winning the title for the company he created? Not trying to be a hater toward Perry and Stunt but Lucha Bros oughta been able to squash them so fast. Jericho-Allin could have been much more than end on interference. It was good but have more of a vicious streak creep outta Jericho. Having a guy "impervious to pain" give up as I believe it was? Also Excalibur explained rope breaks would be acknowledged for tv but the word didn't reach the live audience. Why they would toy with Street Fight rules in Philly anyway, I don't know. Still to be seen if this a case of tailoring the rules to fit the booking.
Omega having a barbed wire-wrapped broom was funny though lol

I liked this weeks episode! So to me, that's all that matters. I don't care that some botches happened, because it happens. It was still entertaining and that's all that matters to me!

The women's division is trash - that's to be expected though, seeing as all the best female talent is either on the main roster, NXT or in Impact.

I thought this was the best show of the 3. The Pac/Moxley vs. Omega/Hangman was the best match of the night for me and I loved the set up for Moxley vs. Pac.
Also this episode made me realize I'm not a fan of Riho at all, she's too small and skinny and struggles lifting up the female wrestlers. Also don't like Perry or Stunt, Lucha Bros should have easily squash both of them especially Stunt.

The weakest point of the show is the women's division no doubt. I really have to suspend my disbelief on their 98 lbs champion, and I'll just say what most of us are thinking - not the most attractive looking roster of women either. I really think it would be in AEW's best interest to spend a little less time promoting this divison until they can get some real indy stars like Tessa Blanchard to build the divison around. I think it was a terrible call to go with Riho, but I get why because of the connection with Kenny Omega.

Liked it, especially the tag tourney matches. Nothing earth shattering but a good watch.

The show from last night did feel A LOT smoother than the past 2 weeks. But last weeks show was still my favorite so far. Even though this show had some good highlights like the Moxely/PAC/Omega/Page tag team match, Riho vs Britt was fun since Riho is really getting over, and that killer main event between Darby and Jericho. Stoked for next week to see where it all goes.
Oh and PnP calling out the entire roster with Jericho as their mouthpiece backstage was different and cool. I love their focus on tag team wrestling have multiple storylines.
SCU!

But it's just not clicking with me - she's the size of a small child, doesn't have convincing offense, and her attire makes her look like a baby doll. The division is weak across the board. Britt Baker looks sloppy in the ring to me. Nyla Rose is a supposed powerhouse who looks like they struggle with the most basic power moves. Kong is a special attraction at this point. Allie does great character work in a company that doesn't do backstage segments. The best parts of the division are Hikaru Shida, who hasn't been seen since in months, and Sadie Gibbs, who hasn't even been given a single match. WWE and Impact have signed up a lot of talent, but there are definitely wrestlers in EVE or Shimmer who would be an upgrade to the current roster.

Mods, we need an AEW forum already. Get rid of TNA.

Hikaru will be back shortly, she is finishing up some Japan dates on a farewell sort of tour before making the permanent move. I think she mentioned this in a twitter post or something a while back. I assume Sadie is in a similar situation but I'm not sure there. They are definitely the best parts of the division though. I really want to be able to say I disagree and totally understand the appeal to Riho given the hype, but honestly, I don't get it either. She's pretty strong technically, that's about where it quits for me. I mean, Kairi Sane is hardly a powerhouse either, but she's way more believable in ring to me. I think everything you've said here echoes my sentiments pretty clearly.
