Google the Kidrobot Andre the Giant figure (also Ric Flair & Ultimate Warrior). So....this isn't the worst.

The kidrobot style looks fine to me but the Mezco one is so ugly that it is hard to even look at!

I agree that the Andre from the first Classic Superstars wave is probably his worst figure ever. Even if they were under a tight budget or whatever financial restrictions, it is horribly inaccurate. Andre never wore a double-strapped singlet. He also never wore kneepads or black wrist tape. Not complaining because of a lack of accessories or a questionable face scan. Just a bad figure all-around that was an easy pass. And that Classic Superstars line was like crack for me those first couple of years. . The worst part about the CS1 Andre (aside from the rest of the series being really good besides maybe Undertaker) was that the proto had one strap! It still had the knee pads and wrist tape, but it was less jarring with the iconic single strap, which heel Andre was known for. But when it came out and it was literally R3 Big Show (RA4 came out at this time) with a passable Andre head it was partucularly egregious. CS 6 and 7 made up for the garbage that was CS1.

Kid me would have loved this figure back in the day, chair and belt too. Granted my fed was made up of Hasbro, BCAs and Toy Biz wrestlers, so scale was irrelevant to me, but for the few nitpicky bits it's a cool figure overall.

For as famous as Andre was he deserved the absolute best figure any company could give him. Jakks gave him probably the worst figures for the most part. The 1998 Legends gets overlooked but it was poor. The head sculpt and overall body was pretty awesome but they did the reverse strap like LJN did. LJN 1989 would be great if not for the reverse strap. Even if a photo was reversed for reference of the paint job, Andre was well known enough that someone should have known what the right strap placement would be. I think one of the best for the era was the Hasbro version. It had his overall size and look correct and you could do a choke move with the hand placement.

I was at Target today and found this random figure for sale. It’s by a company named Marty Abrams and they had a bunch of other random people like Jimi Hendrix and Bruce Lee in the set. Does anyone know anything about these? This figure looks absolutely horrible! Agreed. Not a good figure in any way based on the photos. I haven't seen it in person yet.
