I haven’t seen Top Talent Elites at a single Wal Mart since they clearanced Series 1. Not an empty tag for them or anything That’s who I’m referring to Well, they sell them on their website and while they aren’t at my three closest stores they are sold in WalMarts about 40 minutes north or in NJ stores. But WalMarts are also known for not selling the same product in all their stores for years. My closest three stores never carried Jakks CS 3-Packs, Mattel DM, Legends, DCUC figures since Series 2 (including the WalMart exclusives) nor did they sell regular DC lines other than the movie lines. ML’s they have never carried the WalMart Exclusives just to name a few. The managers have tried to order them over the years but the orders always got refused because it wasn’t part of the polygrams. And according to the department manager at my closest store She says WalMarts next new polygram reset is Jan 1st. And she expects it to be done by Jan 14. So maybe they’ll be back on your stores polygram then? Maybe. But I can’t see them putting Elite Top Talents ‘19 on their new planogram for 2020 But stranger things have happened I guess

I haven’t seen a single Top Talent Elite at Walmart in months. They are definitely not being re-stocked at the moment. They probably will be in time, but it’s just the 2019 basics they have currently.

I got the silver attired Balor and the Rollins in the black and yellow at the Middletown store in October when we were going up there to watch my Brother-in-Laws cat while he was on vacation. That was around the third week of Oct.

Top Picks are selling GREAT and totally serving their purpose which is keeping those recognizable Superstars on shelf all year and allowing new kids and new collectors to easily jump into collecting WWE figures. It also makes it really easy for parents and casual consumers to confidently buy WWE figs for their kids who may just be getting into the product.
More people collecting WWE means a healthier line which eventually could mean more cool product opportunities for collectors.
Top Picks is here to stay for the foreseeable future.

But I have a question.. Will the cloth jacket be what is used going forward with all balors? It’ll be a case by case basis.

Not sure how much info you share on this matter but what is the current policy on wrestlers who leave the company that you’ve already began production on? It seems like in the past you were allowed to release them based on how far along in the process you were unless there were extenuating circumstances. Recent examples like Dean Ambrose and Hideo Itami suggests that is no longer the case. We have a sell off window. Hideo and Dean would not have shipped in the time frame of their sell off window.

Will the Attitude era Kurt Angle be released sometime? It’s a solid option. Maybe an Attitude Era Kurt will appear in the line one day.

When requesting merchandising contracts for action figures, is it an obstacle if a talent has celebrity status outside the wrestling industry? .....For instance, Ken Shamrock or potentially a Mike Tyson, Dennis Rodman, Tiny Lister, etc

Is there any chance some of the store exclusives elite figures That have been impossible to find could be released in a basic assortment such as Kassius Ohno. Don’t want to be a downer I know it’s been beaten to death. I actually don’t mind a figure hunt but I frequent Walmarts and targets on a daily basis on the way to and from work and particularly the target exclusives have been impossible to find. Thank God the legends seem to be Walmart exclusive’s. There are at least 10 Walmarts and targets within driving distance and of all the figures I’ve never seen Pete dune, liv Morgan, or Ohno in a store at all. Im so desperate I’ll take a basic kassius ohno. Seems like it might be somewhat of a compromise to at least get the harder to find characters represented a little better. Again not trying to be too negative was just voicing an opinion thank you for your time !!!

Predicted response: "All talent that remain signed under a merch deal are possibilities to show up in later series as Basics or Elites, those who receive tv time are more likely to see more figures. We hear your concerns, upcoming Elite Dunne is just one example of Mattel listening to the community."

Is there only two series of top picks per year? Bill made it sound like a quarterly thing when it was first shown and we’ve only had two sets?

Having a Collector’s Edition figure doesn’t exclude them from ever being used again.

If ach had remained employed by the wwe, and if the now infamous shirt design would have been produced, would Mattel have done the responsible thing and opted to exclude the racist design if and when he got a figure?

That’s a lot of hypotheticals.... I doubt that shirt would have been made in figure form.
