Do you guys try and do versions of figures LJN Zoe Hasbro has done to bring back a type of nastalgia for older collectors and bring them Back to the oh man I had such and such as a hasbro it’s awesome in Mattel? I love seeing modern figs in retro toy decos and it seems like most people do. You’ve already seen us do quite a few and that will continue. A lot of those looks are very iconic.

Would you be able to share why Ringside got Alexander Wolfe who was a Target exclusive at the time and only Alexander Wolfe? It seems strange they got him and not someone like Ohno (who hasn’t showed up anywhere in the US since it was mentioned that more were coming).

I love all the suggestions on how to better distribute the Collector’s Edition figures. Every single one cracks me up. Keep em coming.

Any idea if there are definite plans to offer Gorilla on Walmart.com like has been done with the past few Walmart exclusives?

This question might come way to early, but I was wondering if the people in the Mattel Design Team have anything special planned for Elite Series 100.
Do you guys already have any ideas for it? Could it just be a regular line up, like any other line up, could it be similar to the Basic Series 100, featuring a bunch of WWE's biggest stars over the last 3 decades, or something completely different?

Has anyone asked about Shawn Michaels hair yet?
The work and dedication you guys obviously have for these figures is amazing but I feel for the Shawn Michaels figures for the most part have the incorrect hair color. Ultimate Edition Shawn's hair looks like a reddish-brown when it should be more blonde. Maybe the final version may look different, but for now, kinda missed the mark.

To my knowledge Bill hasn’t put any thought into yet as we’re years away. Marketing will come up with with something cool for design and packaging to execute I’m sure.

Not sure of the exact specifics of their order but they most likely just picked up excess stock that was available after his wave had moved on from Target. Ohno is a current figure whose circumstances have already been explained.

Ideally the Walmart.com has this fig planned for release on the site. No problem, thanks for addressing it. I know that series hasn't been out for too long but I was trying to gauge if we'd hit that point of "need to turn to Ebay for this one". Exclusives have been discussed ad nauseum on this site, but as an adult collector I wrestle with the decision to spend $40 on-demand for an exclusive on Ebay vs making special trips to Walmart every now and then to check the toy aisle and try and get it for $17. 15 years ago I would have Mapquested a route around the metro area and hit a dozen Walmarts in a day, but a $23 savings today is not worth all of the trips. I've checked the local store 4 times since Christmas and they've been completely bare with Elites each time. Sometimes I wish it was easy to remove the mental block that prevents me from just buying them marked up on Ebay! All that said, a lot of us really appreciate your efforts to get the exclusives available online. Both Walmart and Target have really made online a priority the past couple years, so hopefully we continue to get an option to purchase on their websites. I do wonder if part of the difficulty in retailers stocking figures online is due to the shared SKU system. If every new figure was a unique SKU it would probably make online inventory easier for the retailers. I'm sure Mattel has its reasons for the current system, though.

Interesting - I don't collect any other toy lines so I didn't know this was standard practice. Thanks for the info!

The recent women's Elite figures are been extremely short in scale in comparison to other Mattel WWE women's figures (Natayla, Liv, Mandy). Has this been brought up before and will this be addressed in future releases? Thank you

Are there any plans on doing another fan vote on WWE.com for future elite figures?
I think the last one was what helped birth Elite Sexual Chocolate Mark Henry.

Action Figure Attack Once again, Thank You so much for answering all our questions. I have one more. Before the target NXT line was canceled, there was a Basic Roderick Strong that was planned to be released but wasn't. Is there a chance for that figure to be repurposed for the main Basic line or is that figure not going to be released?
