Will this year crowdfunding be revealed during 12 Days of Fandom? To keep expectations in check, we will not be announcing the next crowdfunded item during SDCC but we are actively working on it. Just need some more time to fine tune the offering. So will the next crowdfund be announced this year?. A lot of us would like to know so we can financially plan ahead. Since back to school is next month and Christmas in about 5. Also will it be 30 days to back again or a longer time period? Thanks

Has the Ultimate line gone longer than initially planned? I know it’s done far better than the previous premium lines (Defining Monents & Entrance Greats), but was the line continued further than initially thought due to the amount of success it’s had?

Taking from this, how did the DM and EG lines do so bad? I don’t understand.

Hi Steve, this is a bit of a request. Is there any chance the packaging team could shorten the plastic hook on Ultimates a bit by any chance? I bought a load of plastic defenders and because of this hook overhanging, it means the box doesn’t fit that well inside it. It looks as though you’ve used the same size plastic hook as the deeper original series Ultimates. Thanks!

Hi Steve. Is the no holds barred set ready to ship right after comic con or is it taking a bit longer?

Obviously fresh news but in theory, with WWE apparently dropping its PG era and moving to TV-14 - will this free you guys up to be able to give us things you may not have been able to previously? Whether it’s characters/gimmicks or t-shirts (Jarrett’s ‘don’t p*ss me off), Austin middle fingers, I’m sure there’s better examples but would be cool if this move now expands your options.
Follow up question would be, if the answer to the above is yes, will you now pivot plans to go after new things or pull out some stuff you guys may have had in a drawer for such a day?

Hi Steve,
It's 2022. Can we please say that Billy and Chuck are at least talked about? They were way over and a great team!

Hi Steve, Ultimate Edition prices just keep going up and up, whilst elite second hand prices in general are going down.
I recently sold all my MOC elites because they just looked a mess on my shelf. I struggled to sell a lot of them for above retail prices even though some were 5-8 years old. I mainly collect golden and new gen with some early attitude.
Not only are the boxes all over the place, but the numbering also is annoying. That’s why I think you have Ultimate packaging absolutely perfect. It allows for collectors to dip in and out of waves without the pressure of completing the numbering lineup like with the old red Star Wars black series.
Just a general observation but I think you’d see more collectors buy and keep their elites if the packaging was geared up for the collectors like Ultimates and Legends.
I think after 12 years of changing the packaging, is it not worth a go to keep them consistent? Elite 100 would be a great marker to try it. I really hope you guys go back to the first iconic hour glass box and stick with it. No other toy box looks like that, whereas I find current elite packaging a bit generic and it doesn’t pop like Ultimates do.
Final thing, please never change the Ultimate packaging! It looks amazing lined up on the side!

Any clue how much the SDCC 2 pack will cost with shipping & handling? In the US.

Hey Steve, considering Legends DiBiase was not the easiest figure to find, especially the chase, would you want to revisit those looks or would other versions like white suit, million dollar corp, nWo, etc take priority? Also, not sure if you or the design team noticed but the MOTU grip hands are perfect for recreating him grabbing his lapels. Have you considered adding that hand mold to the elite line for him?

What look we choose for the next Ted fig depends on the specific circumstances at the time. Could be revisiting an old look or a new look. Maybe new hands. Double jointed elbows would also help with this pose.

It looks amazing lined up on the side! While my personal preference is package uniformity, I accept that when lines like Elites are so long running, an evolution will need to happen. I loved the look of the year 1 packaging but I really couldn’t imagine still shipping those gigantic original Elite packages into modern retail. Plus these conversations involve the team, leadership, licensor and retailers so you have to go where the tide is taking you ultimately. I don’t believe we’re at a point where standard packaging for huge ongoing lines like Elites or Basics would be seriously considered. The love of the hourglass packaging silhouette is noted though. I will however keep advocating for packaging to remain consistent for ongoing collector focused lines like Ultimates and Legends. There’s a little more wiggle room here given the pretty specific audience for these figures.

The chances are as good as any other look I suppose. We plan to keep making Cena’s so…

No idea how this would impact anything bigger picture wise yet, if at all, but I do know you’re never gonna see a Mattel Austin with middle finger swappable hands at retail.
