Man, I feel bad for the talent who get dragged there if problems continue to happen like they did this trip. Going has always been optional. Nobody has been dragged there. After something like whatever happened the last time I wonder if Wwe will have trouble finding talent although if it’s a good enough pay day

Wrestlers bitch. Then they go.
Fans bitch. Then they watch.
Bottom line. Those checks cash. And wrestling fans watch wrestling.

Can we use our heads for a minute? You mean to tell me that all the major media outlets decided not to report on this if it were true If the rumors and conspiracies were true, this would be getting insane amounts of media coverage Remember when Vader was stuck? News outlets went wild with it This a nothing burger. Aw, come on now. The news won't report on this. Its that "wrestling stuff". Everyone knows its fake. A Trump supporter (McMahon family) in an international situation with a country people dont trust....Oh yea the media would have ran quick with that one....We'd STILL be hearing about it

So from what i've read over the past few days
- Saudi owes Vince around 300-500 Million - Vince cut the feed - Prince grounded and ordered them off the flight, Vince and higher ups got out beforehand - Talent is very unhappy, some want out and some never going back to Saudi - Anderson needs a 2nd pool - Saudi deal is extended to 2027...
I don't even know anymore. Just wish this Saudi deal would end, the only 2 positives to come from this deal have been Ali reminding us that he is a very lovable human being, and getting Women to wrestle over there. Wonder how they'll get talent to go over there now, heard that Reigns was among the talent saying they'll never go back.

The WWE publicly reinforcing its relationship that is worth nine figures for them, as if they would publicly acknowledge any issues that may have existed?
Ya don't say...

I'll go over and eat a few F5's for half of what they make.

Nothing new was announced today. The deal started in 2017 and was for 10 years and two shows per year. This is just the WWE in PR mode because they don’t want to risk the current deal they have.
Nobody except those at the top of the WWE and the Saudi officials know what truely happened, but I have a hard time buying it was simply mechanical issues.

Look at what Karl Anderson's wife tweeted. Something really stinks about this whole situation. Eh, I don’t know. His tweet was kinda tongue-in-cheek. Hers was that of a wife concerned for the well being of her husband, who is a foreigner working in a land that is still kinda volatile to foreigners. Even if it’s just a mechanical issue, there’s still a concern for their safety while in the country. And the minute we found out there was a delay, we started speculating online, as we usually do, about the causes, which only served to turn that concern into full blown panic. For those wondering, here’s what AJ said on his gaming stream: “We were supposed to leave after the show. We got to the airport, they weren't letting us board. What was the problem? Not really sure, heard there was a fuel truck in the way, the guy who drove the truck had left to go home. I know, this makes no sense. Why would the fuel guy leave if he knows he's got a plane that's leaving? Then there were some paperwork issues. Finally, after at least 4-5 hours, we get on the plane. Then they found something wrong, the fuel or something or another was broken. People can say what they want, 'It wasn't broken.' But I talked to the pilot. On that 14-hour flight the pilots, I guess they take naps as well. We were all chatting, sitting around on this flight and he said, 'Listen, there was a problem. That's a real thing The problem was, we spent all that time, from one o'clock all the way to six or eight in the morning, waiting to board this plane, they are telling us we can't go anywhere because the pilots and everybody had timed out. They can only go so long before they are not able to fly because they're not able to go 24 hours at a time. They had to go back to a hotel, we had to find a hotel Were there guns? Were there people yelling 'EVERYBODY OFF THE PLANE!'? No, that never happened. My wife called me in a panic, she's scared to death. I go, 'Babe, listen, we're just not able to go anywhere. It is not a big issue, nobody has threatened to kill us.' There was none of that going on. Nobody was going to get murdered, it never happened. There was no threat of physical harm or anything like that.”

Vince McMahon 's reputation is so much so that nobody's surprised he would mess with Saudi Arabia whether he did or not.

Anyone could see that AJ was being forced to say that. Because if you look closely you can see it was under distress. He was really still in Saudi with armed men just off camera telling him what to say. Look at his eyes you can see them in the reflection of his eyes as he’s blinking SOS.”

Courtesy of Hot 97 with Peter Rosenberg: "After the show in Saudi we went to the airport to board our flight and there were just a series of mechanical issues," Natalya recalled. "So, we were told by the flight attendants, 'Hey, everybody has to deplane.' So, we all deplaned and then they took us to a hotel. So, we stayed at a five-star hotel and ate some more amazing hummus [laughs] and for me, I just... we deal with so many travel issues all the time, so, like I said... I was just told to deplane because there was mechanical issues, and that's basically the extent of it."

As always, it sounds like a non-story that was made out to be far worse than it really was.

I grew up with Eric Young, so I talk to him still. I asked him today what really happened and he told me the truth.
So I know what really happened. It's not as crazy as the stories are saying. People I think like to just keep adding to the story to make it seem more crazier sounding than it already is.

It's a miracle the roster was able to even get on a plane with all the Hulkamaniacs that I'm sure showed up to the airport to try and catch a glimpse of the Hulkster, brother!
