So this is a re-do of the very first Custom figure I made. I don't have a before image, but I redid the figure completely. I know it's not the best, and I am still very primitive when it comes to my customizing techniques. But I am, in general, much happier with her now than before. The colors are still off and the logo is the wrong size and that cape (!), but its a start. Anyway, without further ado, MIGHTY MOLLY!   Like I said, there is so much wrong with the figure, I know, but for a beginner like me, I like her. |

Ok, so I fixed up the Molly custom, but I will get to that later... Instead, I present to you my SECOND custom WWE figure (ever)... Best in the Woooooooooooooooorld Shane McMahon     I know the painting is a bit rough, and if I had the money, I would have spray painted the trophy. Also, I hate the eyebrows, but I am physically incapable of painting faces. It could be better, but for now, this is my masterpiece. (Oh, and for parts, I used a Shane McMahon head, a Dean Ambrose Summerslam body, the jacket from the BotAE Triple H figure, and the trophy is from a barbie doll. (I know my sculpting isn't the best, but I tried to make it look like the world cup.) |

Ok, so technically, my third custom, version 1 and 2 is my Marissa Custom, but frankly I'm not 100% happy with her yet and may go back and repaint the face again. Left eyes are the bane of my existance. What follows is my fourth custom, and also a mother's day present for my darling mother. Presenting, yours truly, as... DarkSpecter, the Dark Mistress.(Cue the tortured strains of Living Dead Girl by Rob Zombie)   It's a figure of myself as DarkSpecter from ACW, an E-Fed I was in back in HS. Yes, I was once young and beautiful. I miss it too. Anyway. It's just a full repaint of the FTiL Basic Paige figure, which I had as a spare after I got the Exclusive Paige. If I wanted to be really accurate, I'd give her the wrap from the Brie Bella elite, also painted black. However, I don't have the Elite Brie, let alone a spare to steal the wrap from, so this is what I got. Also, DS wore tall boots, not the low-boot/sock combo, but I don't have any idea how to swap legs at this point, so again, this is what I got. Finally, I wish I had the ability to do eyes right. I dont have a steady enough hand to do pupils, and my 10/0 brush is somewhat damaged and in need of a replacement. I've wanted to make a figure of "Myself" for awhile now, but didn't trust my abilities. Also, I didn't have an extra Paige figure, which is what I wanted to use. But with a couple other customs under my belt, and the acquisition of the Target Paige, I decided to give it a shot. But then, when I mentioned the idea to my mom, she got super excited at the prospect of owning a figure of me, so I've decided that she's going to get it for mother's day. Personally? I think I'm getting better. And more creative. Painting faces is really friggin hard, and if I want to finish that Linda custom, I'm gonna have to get good at it. |
