Yesterday when I met Nikki Cross at Ringside Fest I actually asked her why Sanity didn't get a push on the main roster and she laughed and said "everything happens for a reason, we're all good now". I guess that was her unique way of dodging the question, but why didn't they get used right?

Vince would be my simple guess. If he doesn't get it or like it then that's probably why they got dismantled....there's a ton of ideas creative could do with a group like that. If it's the ol' 'Creative has nothing for you' you know that's just a cheap excuse.

It's interesting she wasn't part of Sanity on the main roster, but it worked out for her as she has a decent role with the company. Killian Dain is back on NXT, don't know where Alexander Wolfe is, and Eric Young is at Titus catering. So they are not all good now!

Nikki was the only one that benefited from the group. I'm still upset Eric Young hasn't done anything, I've always been a fan of his and think he can be hilarious but I'm sure he wants to be looked as more serious than a goofball.

Eric Young could benefit from going back down to NXT as well, its unforunate they didnt do anything with Sanity.

How Eric Young isn't up there with Drake Maverick and R-Truth doing comedy matches for the 24/7 belt I have no idea. Obviously Vince hasn't seen his TNA stuff, but someone on the team needs to put the idea in his head.

I blame Road Dogg. He barely gave them TV time and as a result they completely wasted away.
Had they gone to Raw they may have been more successful.

Who'd have guessed that after the split, Eric Young would be doing by far the worst of the 4?

Didn't they get a push at first, beating New Day and the such, and then the push just stopped? I guess there was no rhyme or reason much like EC3's mysterious burial or Buddy Murphy just going back to the midcard after beating Daniel Bryan? Don't even get me started on Alestar Black's misuse!

I don't ever remember them getting a win on the main roster, maybe they did. It's sad to think that on their last time together they were defeated by The Miz in a handicap match.

If “used right” means “win all the time” then it’s impossible for everyone to be used right.

I'd like for Young to move back to NXT to re-team with Killian. They were always my favorite pairing of Sanity anyhow, so I'd be cool with it just being those two now. Or if nothing else, add a new member or two that needs some character.

Nikki was the only member of the group that was ever going to succeed on the main roster. Dain's doing fine in NXT though. Eric Young's over the hill and Wolfe will always be the stable guy.

I remember there was rumors of Wyatt taking over leadership of Sanity. Obviously that never happened, and maybe if that was the plan and plans changed they just had no idea what else to do.

I actually know the real answer to this question!!
I am friends with Eric Young, have been since we were kids. He came home last Christmas and got together will all of us and he talked about his WWE run so far.
He said that Vince had no idea who or what Sanity was. Vince said to Hunter, "I want some NXT guys" and Hunter tried to explain to Vince about the Sanity group. Vince finally said, "whatever, just bring them up."
So they came up and Vince liked it at first. But then something happened.
"Sanity lost our push because Shinsuke Nakamura got bit by a dog." - Eric Young
So on Smackdown, Shinsuke vs. Jeff Hardy was gonna happen, but they brought in bomb sniffing dogs before the event, and a dog came up to Shinsuke and bit his ankle, thus he couldn't wrestle cause he needed stitches. Vince said, "who could Jeff Hardy wrestle tonight??" and Road Dogg said, "Eric Young. He wrestled Jeff when we were in TNA."
So Sanity was set to wrestle the Usos that night and beat them, but because of the match happening of Jeff vs. EY, it ended up being a singles match turned into a 6 man tag, and Sanity lost to Jeff Hardy and the Usos. Vince then soured on them and got bored.
Triple H tried to push them to Vince for ever, but Vince just wasn't having it.
So as EY told me and everyone else that night.... "no matter what goes wrong with your life for now on, you can just trace it back to the night Shinsuke Nakamura got bit by a dog."

He's actually far from bitter. But he and a lot of other talent do share the same feelings about many things right now inside the WWE.

Even though the act was pretty much dead by then, I HATED them losing to the Miz(who to me will always be the reality show goof).
