The only figure ever made representing Brets 2010 run was the TRU exclusive BOPPV figure. I personally like the figure but at the same time feel we are long overdue for a more updated release of one of the most defining moments (pun intended) of Brets January 2010 return to the WWE. This time they can chose better parts for Brets model and include the soft goods that best represents his return. And they also need to give us a more decent head scan than what was originally released.

The less we remember of that 2010 Bret run, the better.

No, thanks. I just want a WCW version... They should do both attires Halloween Havoc as the main one and black singlet as the variant with round glasses...

Hmm, Survivor Series 1996 Bret or 2010 AARP Bret. Tough choice Bill

The less we remember of that 2010 Bret run, the better. I love WWE circa 2010 but man Bret’s return was bad.

Really? I thought the night of his return was momentous. The only thing I didn't like was the cheap shot from Vince. Still want to see a better 2010 Bret in figure form.

The BOPPV Bret is a near perfect figure with a great headscan...No need for another.
(and this should be in the Suggestion Box)

I have the tru one, but if they made another i'd buy it simply because it's Bret.

Whoa hold your horses, we have yet to get a 96 Survivor Series Bret with the orange trim. After we get then then we can consider other attires.
Honestly the elite we got from his 2010 run is all we need. He wore the same outfit through it all. (The figure doesnt go for much online if your looking for it too)

And if we are to get a Bret with t-shirt and jorts, make it from 1997...Although I'd be alright with a hybrid figure, with 2 shirts and 2 heads.

Coming from as big a Bret Hart fan as there is, I don't think many people want his 2010 run to be immortalized in plastic.
However, I do think that a 1997 Hart Foundation "street attire" figure could work and would be popular amongst collectors. The look is simple: Hart Foundation shirt/jean shorts/basketball shoes/leather jacket. Also, throw in those circular mirrored shades he wore as well as a wheelchair and you got yourself a pretty solid Flashback for an Elite line.
Just to reiterate, I'm pretty sure nobody else wants another 2010 Bret. Very glad he made his peace and came back home, but let's leave the rest of those memories alone.

His return brought me back to WWE, for the first time basically since SummerSlam 2004 when I stopped following it. Bret was the only guy who could’ve brought me back since he was always my favourite, and I’ll forever be a mark for him.
Maybe due to that I have rose-tinted glasses looking back at his return; the crowd reactions, the face-to-face with HBK, him wrestling again at WrestleMania (as terribly booked as the match was), working with the Hart Dynasty, winning the US title, being part of the WWE vs. Nexus match at SummerSlam, and just generally destroying Heath Slater - positives outweigh the negatives for me, but as I say I’m a total mark for Bret anyway.
Not sure it needs another figure (certainly not before Survivor Series 96), but I’d be open to it.

I mean, what was wrong with the first one? Other than the scarcity of it now, I see no reason to rerelease it. If they make the white shirt instead that’d be cool but the first one is fine as it is

I'll take a wrestlemania 26/night one 2010 Bret Elite.
I buy all Bret elites and wouldn't mind one more fron 2010.
We do need survivor series and a wcw Bret.

Anyone ever see what he was doing at house shows at the time? I made this GIF awhile ago from a fan-shot match. I wish we got this Bret on TV, though to my understanding - on top of his prior injuries - his health insurance was the main culprit. He technically worked a tag match against Bray Wyatt under the Husky Harris moniker at one of these shows, too. Not sure if they interacted or not, but a cool little "that happened?" sort of stat. Anyway, I regret passing on this Bret at TRU the one time I saw him. It has a fantastic likeness and I believe it was one of the first figures to use the new material for shirts. They need to get to Survivor Series '96 first, but if they ever wanted to do this career send-off era for Bret, re-releasing the TRU figure with a bonus jacket accessory or US title would be a great way to do it.

I would rather a 2013 grandpa Bret BAF, with Pink plaid shirt and sportcoat in jeans. But I'd also prefer no modern day Brets at all.
