My thing with guys like Kannelis and Sin Cara and Harper, is they don’t come off as guys just complaining. They come off like they are basically going to WWE and saying like “I feel like I’m not doing anything here. If you’re not going to use me, let me go do something else.” They’re public statements regarding asking for they’re release come off more more like they are just pointing out that this is a matter of business and there’s no hostility. It comes off like they are just explaining the thought process to avoid rumors. They don’t come off like rants.

In case anyone was wondering, here's the Bible verse he cited:
“Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands.
Personally, I think there's enough choice in the wrestling world now that everyone deserves to go where they can contribute. Hunico could not have been more of a team player in his time in WWE, and he's not going to go to AEW and become a mega-star, he's going to go to somewhere like CMLL, AAA, or maybe even Impact and be a mid-carder, stable member or half of a tag team there. Why bother keeping him under lock and key?
I understand with someone like Harper, because it's insanely talented and could be the catalyst for something amazing somewhere, but Hunico is just... Hunico. There's nothing exceptional about him, so what risk do they run in letting him go?

Yes, they did. But didn't they sign for another three years? Or is that the "OC" I'm thinking about? But The Revival too. If they leave, AEW should sign them. OC resigned. I was very disappointed in them. I know I know, but they're making money right? I hear ya! But I'm thinking that they are getting up there in age and wouldn't be able to hang with the teams they have in AEW. The Revival are still younger (I'm guessing, too lazy to do the google). So they would have a better chance to have a long run with AEW than the OC.

Let him go, this is the only thing the Sin Cara character is remembered for anyway 🤷🏽♂️
