We get it, you hate polls... You going to comment that on every single one up to 43?

Regal is a masterpiece. McIntyre is still a fantastic figure though

This was pretty hard.
Drew is a great figure but has the only oval intercontinental belt with the logo on the top part
Bourne has a great attire and shirt. Love the kick pad mold
Regal has a awesome attire but an amazing robe
I ended up voting for Bourne but I'm still up in the air.

Drew McIntyre. Still his best figure and I remember that IC belt kept getting stolen.

I like Sheamus since he came with the belt and pipe. I think they had that Sheamus rereleased in Best of 2010.

Sheamus for me....Drew a close second. Great set...I love that Edge
That oval IC belt needs to be reissued a few more times with a few more guys....It really does.

Voted For Drew. I didn't start collecting until E18 and at the time he was the only one with the Oval intercontinental title until the belt pack (I think).
Taker comes 2nd just because of the entrance gear, perfect for late 90s Taker.

I think this was the first Elite series where I pre-ordered the full set. Loved all of these figures. My pick goes to Sheamus though. Belts are commonplace now, but these were the first ones Mattel put out (besides the Million $ Belt). So this was a very exciting set at the time. Sheamus also came with the really cool lead pipe weapon, which I *think* has never been rereleased. Sadly the only figures I still have from this set are Drew and Edge, but my Edge has a different head now.

Ah, the title belt debut series. That Attitude era-plus version of the IC title really set the bar on how good these titles could look. I bought Drew just for that belt.
My pick is Regal, though. I absolutely love that figure. Even without the robe, the parts look good, he has his tattoos, and the scan is top notch.

Looking back this was really an excellent set. I still need to get myself a late 00s Taker. I only have a basic. I traded my Elite here( thinking another would be easy to get) and got screwed royally by the dude in the trade.
Getting back to that Oval IC? It should have came with Shamrock, FB Orton & definitely should come with Chyna. Of course Mattel missed the boat giving us a 2000 Jericho and it could have been issued there too.
Dunno what the reluctance is but I only have one of these bad boys and that needs to change....LOL.

That was one of the best Elite series in my opinion, and I have an equally great memory of buying them on a trip to Cleveland for an amazing Rush show. I have to say Regal is my favorite, and I still have him. But as much as I loved that Sheamus, Bourne and McIntyre are probably tied for second. I must've sold and re-bought McIntyre 3 times over the years, and the Bourne I just could never part with until earlier this year when I sold off most of my collection. The rat-faced Edge and decent Taker with not my favorite head scan bring up the rear in this tremendous series. For me there has never been a better overall Elite series than 8.

They're all so good it was hard to choose. This is one of the top 3 best waves of the whole line and I love every figure. But Regal, that was something special. Flawless execution.
