With Punk back and on WWE Backstage, I wonder how long it'll be until WWE scoops him up in some sort of Legends Deal. It's clear he no longer wants to wrestle but a Legends Deal would be great.

For how much he b*tched about WWE after quitting, I am surprised he came back. He said there is no amount of money WWE could give him to wrestle for them again. It was actually kinda odd seeing him on WWE Backstage

Didn't say anything about what Fox could pay him, though. Sounds like he needs money, or just pissing off AEW? I'd guess neither, but for everybody who's going to try and decipher the mindset of CM Punk following his appearance last night, the only person who truly knows what Punk is thinking is Punk. My own personal theory, grounded in nothing more than my own observations? If Punk earnestly wanted to wrestle again, I feel as though he'd have already signed with AEW, where he'd almost certainly be able to do what he wanted, how he wanted. I see the Backstage move as a loophole into the business. He gets to be around the business, which I've little doubt that at least part of him still loves, but he gets to maintain a sense of, at least in his own mind, principle and integrity, in that he's not directly employed by WWE. I think if tomorrow he was offered a no bullsh*t, no "technically-but-actually", go on dead last WreslteMania main event, he'd sign in a heartbeat, but barring that, I don't see him "coming back". That said, he could show up Friday, and leave me eating every last word I just typed out.

Punk seems like he’d wrestle if the $ was right. But he’s okay not doing it and def doesn’t want a full time gig. So I think there is a one last run in him if money is right.

I’m sure that wasn’t cheap but I don’t think it bankrupted him or anything like that. He’ll work for the right amount but he doesn’t seem desperate for cash

I saw a recent interview in the last couple months where he said he’d be open to coming back to WWE if the offer was right (and he said he didn’t even necessarily know what the “right offer” would be). He said he’d be interested in like commentary, or some kind of backstage role. He did say he wasn’t looking to wrestle mainly because fans would be expecting like 2011 CM Punk, and there’s no way they’d not be disappointed to get 2019 CM Punk. In the interview he talked about how he’s matured and while he still stands by the things he said he’s trying to just let things be in the past and not carry anger and stress.

At starrcast he said he doesn't have the negative feelings he once had for them. He seems like he's in a really good place. Mentioned he'd love to return for the right $, but isn't bothered if he never wrestles again. I was never a fan of his, so I'd be good w/o any merch of his

His attitude in interviews over the past 6 months or more has been a drastic change. I’m not sure if he’s just matured, let things go, has a desire to change the last WWE/Punk image that we all have in our minds, or a combo of all that, but clearly something has happened, and we now have him and the WWE logo in the same place at the same time, and it’s crazy.

Are we missing that many Punk figures? Seems like Mattel was pumping out as many as they could. I wouldn’t mind getting a pipe bomb elite but it isn’t something that I’m desperate to have. Now if his wife resigns then I’d love an AJ dressed up as Kane.

Guess we can start bugging Bill about elite Bret Hart tribute and Yankees figures again lmao
He’s gonna sign something with WWE for merch eventually. I’d bet money that Vince has been talking to Triple H about burying the hatchet with Punk so they can work something out one day
Give me an Ultimate Edition Punk in the Bret Hart gear with the Spinner belt, 2 heads (one jet black hair, one buzzed), and a cloth grey BITW shirt (the one after the iconic white one)
