I'm inspired by the Benoit-Undertaker thread. Everything in my list is fantasy. It would require history to be changed in one way or another, eg Sting in WWE or Bret Hart not being injured by Goldberg.
I world have loved to see the following feuds:
Undertaker vs Sting sometime between 1997-2001
Bret Hart vs Kurt Angle between 2000-2003
DX vs nWo between 1999-2002. HHH vs Hogan. HBK vs Savage. New Age Outlaws vs Outsiders. It would have been great.
Savage vs Bret Hart in 1993 or 1994
Savage vs Shawn Michaels in 1994 or 1995
Sting vs Shawn Michaels in 1998
I would have liked to see Vader vs Hogan in the late 80s as well. Hogan didn't get to face a monster that could actually move other than Big Boss Man

I like your lists, I think they would have been great. I would also add the Great Muta vs. Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels in 1994-1996 era. He would have fit in great with Camp Cornette and Mr. Fuji, especially at the beginning when it was mainly Yokozuna and Crush and they were doing the evil Japanese characters (they also brought in Tenyru and the Great Kabuki for the Rumble).

Goldust vs Shawn in the mid-90s It's hard to believe that during half of the 90's and 00's Shawn and Goldust were on the same roster and never interacted.

Bret vs Kurt would’ve been t best match of all time, and Sting/Shawn probably would’ve been the best match of ‘98

I'll throw a few out there...
Taker/Andre- I know Andre was in real bad shape in 91 but man just to see those two in the ring together staring each other down would've been something
Bret/Jake feud for the IC belt post Mania VIII
Sid/Mankind in a battle of the crazies. Imagine the promos.

Undertaker vs Cena with the strap on the line when the streak was still alive. Circa 2008-2012. Vince missed a big trick here but he likely didn't want Cena being booed outta the building more than he already was.
The Invasion in 2001 but that's been done to death already.
Heel Savage vs Bret for the WWF title. Savage turning heel and mounting a title challenge because he was sick of this "new gen" stuff would have been brilliant.
On the topic of HBK/Goldust? Many say that the IYH: Mind Games PPV was set up specifically for HBK vs Goldust back when Vader was meant to beat HBK @ Summerslam 96 for the belt. Apparently? It was to go like this....
Goldust would have started his stalking of HBK in July after IYH: International Incident HBK would have dropped the belt to Vader @ Sslam as planned but Goldust would have had a hand in it Goldust would have tormented HBK after Sslam and HBK would beat him soundly @ IYH Mind Games to get back in the title race.
But HBK who hated the GD gimmick nixed it immediately. The Kliq hated that Hall was made work with the character & HBK sure wasn't goona do a programme with him. So yeah...Match on Raw & we are done.

Rick Rude would have knocked out HBK if he tried that crap with him.

These are my two favorite wrestlers of all time. It would have been great wrestling, psychology, and an epic feud. Bret deserved some better opponents in that first run. Not bums like Skinner Edited: my phone always autocorrects "feud" to another word

ricky steamboat and mr perfect in 1991 Man that would have been an awesome match, I really liked Ricky Steamboat and Mr. Perfect, two of the best in ring performers ever. Rude vs Austin in 1999 would have been great as well. Or Rude vs Shawn or Bret in 1993/94 how about heel rude vs face mr perfect in 1993? Never even thought of that but that would have been great. After Perfect turned on Heenan it would have been great if Heenan brought Rude back to go after Perfect, that could have been a hot feud and they wouldn't even need a title to make it interesting. I like your lists, I think they would have been great. I would also add the Great Muta vs. Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels in 1994-1996 era. He would have fit in great with Camp Cornette and Mr. Fuji, especially at the beginning when it was mainly Yokozuna and Crush and they were doing the evil Japanese characters (they also brought in Tenyru and the Great Kabuki for the Rumble). man yoko and muta would been the greatest jap tag team ever. and SOOO perfect with mr fuji! loved owen/yoko but this woulda been way better! I agree, also, had it gotten to 1995 they could have added Hakushi in the mix. After that, they could have added Owen and Davey and had themselves a real foreign menace faction. After they all turn on Yoko, because that's what they did anyway, that sets up the Great Muta vs. Shawn Michaels in 1996. The Invasion in 2001 but that's been done to death already. Heel Savage vs Bret for the WWF title. Savage turning heel and mounting a title challenge because he was sick of this "new gen" stuff would have been brilliant. Had the 2001 invasion angle been done right with Hogan, Hall, Nash, Sting, Goldberg, Macho, Flair, instead of the guys we got, that would have been epic. Though, the WWF would have had to put the WCW guys over first to make it work, which it didn't seem like a lot of the WWF guys were willing to do at that time - though, had they brought in the big names the WWF guys may have allowed it. Two of my favorite wrestlers, actually #1 and #2, Macho vs. Bret would have been a dream match. Had Macho turned heel in 1994 to face Bret (would have loved this more than the Bob Backlund feud), that also could have set Savage up to work with Diesel, Lex (I really liked their feud in WCW in 1995), Razor, and eventually Shawn Michaels when Shawn turned face in 1995. According to Lanny, Savage wanted to have a good long feud with Michaels, culminating in a match at WM where Shawn would beat and retire Savage, after that Savage would return to the announce team for good. If Savage could still go in WCW in 1997/8, I don't see why he couldn't have been great in that role in WWF in 1995. Plus, in 1994/95, the WWF was suffering from a lack of top notch heels to work with their overloaded baby face roster of Bret, Taker, Shawn, Diesel, Razor, Lex, Davey, and so on. Though, after the match with Michaels, instead of retiring it would have been great for Macho to go to WCW then since he still had a lot left and really helped WCW in the mid-late 90s. Who knows, had he waited around until 1996 he could have left with Nash and Hall to be in the match at Bash at the Beach in 1996 (Macho, Nash, Hall vs. Sting, Lex, Flair), the twist would have been Hogan at the end still turning on the WCW guys, though this time it might not have been expected since the third man they were talking about was already in the match.

And to piggy back on this because this resource of a site needs more love. Here's all the times Shawn & Goldust faced each other:
And piggybacking off of THIS, I saw HBK and Goldust wrestle each other int he main event of a house show in Salt Lake City for the World Title. Holy cow, that entire card was pure magic. Also one of the last WWF appearances for the Ultimate Warrior, if I remember right. Here are the full results: Marty Jannetty & Leif Cassidy defeated the Bushwhackers when Leif Cassidy pinned Luke after a trip from Marty Jannetty Savio Vega pinned Owen Hart with a spin kick Marc Mero pinned Hunter Hearst Helmsley Steve Austin pinned Duke Drose The Ultimate Warrior defeated Vader via count-out after 12 minutes when Vader left ringside Henry & Phinneas Godwinn defeated WWF Tag Team Champions the Smoking Gunns via count-out when the champions left ringside Ahmed Johnson defeated Davey Boy Smith via disqualification after Owen Hart interfered and hit Ahmed with his cast The Undertaker pinned Mankind with the tombstone WWF World Champion Shawn Michaels pinned WWF IC Champion Goldust with the superkick WWF 1996 Results

MKSavageI have my WWE2K19 fed setup with a combined roster from 1997. Three shows, Raw (WWF), Nitro (WCW) and SmackDown (ECW and cruiserwights). I let the heavyweight contenders wrestle on any show, so you get HBK, Hogan, Sting, Savage, Bret, Nash, Goldberg, Austin, DDP, Flair, Sid, Undertaker etc all going head to head
