Warrant Out for Arrest of WFWF Wrestler
William Saturn Broom violated parole, left the country for Scotland
William Saturn Broom, better known by WFWF fans around the world as "The Cleaner" Billy Broom has been making a name for himself as of late - and not in a good way. The Pittsburgh native made headlines last month when he assaulted college students, Roderick Freitag and Marcus Sanchez in a drunken haze. According to witnesses, the famed wrestler entered The King's Pub already inebriated and immediately started causing a scene, swinging a miniautre broom around like a "wild man", according to witnesses. Freitag and Sanchez then approached the disruptive guest and that's when Broom went on the warpath. Sanchez and Broom got into a confrontation where Freitag tried to separate the two but it was Broom who escalated the situation. He then threw glasses and bar stools at the two college students. We reached out to other witnesses from that night and a woman who asked to remain anonymous reported that she was hit behind the head with the barstool thrown by Broom and as a result, the woman now suffers from a concussion. She stated that she is looking to press charges against Broom as well as file a lawsuit against the wrestler.
Once all three men were thrown out the local establishment, a small crowd of pedestrians followed the chaotic scene that took them into a construction zone where Broom proceeded to violently assault both students with the miniature broom, breaking it over Sanchez's head and beating Freitag with the broken half until he was bloodied and unconscious. Broom then passed out which allowed the small crowd to alert authorities.
One of the many pictures taken during Mr. Broom's late night drunken stupor that ended in violence.
Police were alerted and led to the scene of the crime by some of the small crowd and Broom was arrested on the spot. He spent the night in jail before posting bail and he was sent home. He is scheduled to appear in court on December 3rd at the Pittsburgh Superior Court, located on 100 Center Drive. We have learned that his attorney, Joe Strubachincoscow from Strubachincoscow Law Offices will be defending the wrestler at the hearing. "My client has served out country and while I don't condone the actions he committed on the night of September 25th, my client is a good man who has fallen on hard times."
The entire violent confrontation was uploaded to YouTube but the video has since been taken down per request of the victim's families who are pressing charges against Broom for the violent attack on their sons.
Unfortunately for the man they call "The Cleaner", his troubles don't stop there.
Egor Ivanov, the landlord for Crane Village Apartment reported to local authorities that on November 10th, sounds of screaming, items being destroyed and loud pounding on the walls were coming from Broom's apartment. When Ivanov went to check on the wrestler, he walked into a grisly scene. According to Ivanov, Broom was covered in blood and his apartment had been destroyed with large punctures into the drywall of the apartment. When Ivanov went to approach Broom, he became hysterical, scaring his neighbors to the point where they called the police after Broom stormed off, taking only a bag of clothes with him.
According to Michigan PD, Daniel Conant is an Uber driver who had a similar experience with Broom earlier in September. According to Mr. Conant, Broom was temperamental and very rude to the young man despite Conant doing nothing to Broom. He lashed out at the driver after he tried to make conversation. When he was ordered to exit the vehicle, Broom slammed the door so hard that it shattered the window of the back seat.
In response, Conant reported Broom to Uber where they proceeded to file a claim against him where Broom must pay an undisclosed amount for the damages caused to Conant’s vehicle. When the WFWF was asked for a comment, they refused and Conant has expressed interest in taking Broom to court for the unpaid damages to his car as well as to serve as a character witness.
Broom is a wrestler. He travels the world and is contracted by the WFWF to do, however he was reportedly ordered by his parole officer that he must not leave the country until after the hearing. According to his parole officer, Broom fled the country and went to Scotland, where the WFWF is hosting their show Do or Die, which will be live from the SSE Hydro Arena on pay-per-view.
Local authorities have reached out to the Police Service of Scotland in aiding bringing Broom in handcuffs and back to the United States to stand trial for his actions.
"He violated his parole and fled the country. He was asked not to but he did anyway. Mr. Broom is now a wanted criminal and whether or not he realizes it - he led us right to him" said Scottish Police Chief Fraser Roberston.
All of those he has hurt will be there, hoping to have justice served.
