That will sell atleast at $150 this always happens when these first come out they go for $100+ because there’s people that feel the need to be the first to have it, give it a few weeks and he’ll probably be about half that price.

It's a waiting game at this point. Whoever is bidding triple digits for a mass produced figure is going to be mighty embarrassed when Monsoon hits for $30-35 shipped, if even lower on Walmart's site.

People are ignorant paying that 🤦🏼♂️ It's classic "me first" syndrome. People are willing to pay a premium to be the first to own a figure that will eventually drop in price to more reasonable levels. Look at Pat Patterson, people were scrambling to get him but now I've seen a MOC one for as low as $22 shipped, a hair above retail. This goes double if like Brisco, Gorilla's available online. He's my most wanted figure at the moment but I'm not at liberty to put myself in debt over a plastic manifestation of an 80s commentator

BUT GUYS THERE'S NO LEGITIMATE SOURCES THAT SAY [FIGURE FLAVOR OF THE WEEK] IS EVER GOING TO ACTUALLY BE RELEASED, MAKING THE $500 STARTING BID FOR THIS [FIGURE FLAVOR OF THE WEEK] PERFECTLY REASONABLE.

I think Mattel nailed this figure. He could be a little chubby but they tend to make guys slimmer than they were in real life. The pointing hands inclusion along with two other two sets of hands is pretty cool.

Already working on a Prime Time set for him and Heenan

Cr@p my Walmart had a case of e72 out today. I didn’t even look for Gorilla. I saw Murphy and Strong as the first two figures and stopped there. I didn’t think he was in E72 I thought he was in E73. lol
anyone by the Monroe NY WalMart he may be there.

Just left an hour ago, nothing but a lone Miz Elite. Seems like a good sign to me things are coming. We usually don't get anything new until everywhere else has it, but I'm holding out for Walmart.com to pull through and I can order there.

I never understand the judgement of people who pay those ridiculous prices for figures when they first come out or they are OOP for a long time. If they got the money, and they want it, why would they feel terrible when it's selling for 35 6-8 weeks later? Obviously they know that they'll go down in price, and they still spend major dollars.
Stop counting other people's pockets.
And this is not to any individual's post in this thread or others, this is something that's always brought up when a new figure comes out and everyone has an opinion.
Just sayin'.

I try not to judge people what they do with their money, I can only speak for myself and I personally wouldn't spend more than I needed to for a figure. At the end of the day they're toys, no need to go into debt to be the first to own a plastic manifestation of an 80s commentator knowing the price will go down as more hit shelves.
My biggest complaint with people are the ones who are encouraging resellers to scoop up the store exclusives to put up on eBay for outrageous amounts knowing folks will be throwing cash hand over fist to have the privilege of being first. It's not so much a judgment on my part so much as it's fueling the dog-eat-dog nature of collecting. I've always advocated helping out other collectors and not trying to flip a $15 figure for practically 10 times the cost.
Don't get me wrong, I want Monsoon super badly, in fact he's my most wanted figure right now, but I'm willing to wait until the going rate drops to a level I feel comfortable paying, even if it's over MSRP. I mean if someone has the dough to spend do what you like but that doesn't mean it's a wise choice if you're patient. The novelty of exclusivity is temporary

One Punch Reigns, I appreciate you posting this. It gives me some insight I didn't think about. Again I wasn't talking to you, it was just in general, cause it's been a thing for as long as I can remember.
I hear you on these people who snag an exclusive to sell on ebay. People who don't even watch wrestling, but can look at this forum without being a member of the site. That gets me. Years ago, when TNA/Jakks was out, there was a 1/500 or whatever the number, with a Kurt Angle. But I walked in 2 minutes after they opened, and by the time I got to the figures, a "Hot Wheels Guy" had it in his hand. I was pissed, and you know what? I still am. And it ended up on ebay and I think he got like $70 for it. Now I would have eventually sold it, but it was gonna go w/my 17 WWE Jakks 1/500 collection, all of them I found at retail.
Now, I am ok with a collector, doing whatever they do to acquire something, if they flip and make a profit, let's face it, it's gonna go back into their collection in one way or another. I mean, we all know that if we collect anything.
But someone paying $200 on a figure, it's out of my hands, so I look at it like, it's not my business. Goes for this and for usually in my daily life it happens. And I move on.
(Another essay from me!)
