WWE has recently filed trademarks for ‘Barely Legal’ and ‘CyberSlam’.
These are two historic PPV names from the original ECW.
Interesting considering AEW have filed for a couple of historic WCW ones recently.

Ha ha ha a "Barely Legal" PPV name being used by WWE?? That's funny.
CyberSlam I could see them using though. With the WWE Network being online and all.

Probably just so AEW can't have them, since they did manage to get Bash at the Beach.
It'd be cool to see them use CyberSlam though, maybe bring the concept of Cyber Sunday back with it.

I thought WWE owned all the copyrights to all of WCW and ECW's PPV's names Some of those trademarks must have expired. They definitely did. Trademarks expire every 10 years, and you have to show that you're making an effort to keep them in order to keep them. WWE hasnt run a show with any of those names.

To give ECW its due, the lack of music clearance meant their PPVs weren’t legal at all. Should’ve been called Nearly Legal.

I thought WWE owned everything from WCW and ECW. They did at some point but not anymore. You have to put in effort in trying to keep stuff like this (ie putting out a DVD or running a show with these names), which they have never done. So they lost them.

Shame. I'd like to see WWE lose more trademarks and loosen their grip on wrestling history.

Shame. I'd like to see WWE lose more trademarks and loosen their grip on wrestling history. Yes, how dare the WWE not let Cody and The Bucks steal more show names rather than make up their own. Typical WWE bullying the industry!

How dumb can this company be sometimes? Why on earth would you not renew all of your trademarks before they expire? And they’ve had over a decade and a half, nearly two now, to put out WCW Complete PPV Anthologies, or, at the very least, multi-disc best of’s to keep these trademarks relevant. Now they’re probably gonna have to go to court, yet again, to fight a legal battle. LOL.

Typical WWE bullying the industry! That's quite the jump! I'm referring to their complete ownership of the narrative of wrestling history. Their misrepresentation of WCW is something that irritates me to this day.
