If the week after Christmas the bundles are still in stores, we can say they shelfwarmed. Still early as they have not been at all Walmrts and 12 really isn't a lot, they're just bulky. Problem might be that kids want they're favorite Basics or Elites, so they don't give a poop about the mash-ups. so, that's what the parents are hunting for, not He-man related stuff.

They would probably sell better if they were in the aisle with the figures. My local store have them in odd locations. The store I go to most had the shipper cube with them in it down by the automotive and fabric/craft sections. It’s since been moved to toy dept but more towards lawn and garden. The other store I go to regularly has them in the main aisle on the opposite side of the frozen foods freezers/refrigerators. Not sure about the third store because I haven’t been to it in about a month and a half.

Wasn't the point of this to build/latch on to the MOTU movie? It's not coming out until 2021.

I think they are but online only by a company called Super7?

The reboot cartoon and toy line ran from 2002-2004. Then in 2008, the MOTU Classics figure line was started by Mattel. When that ended in 2016, Super7 took over production of a similar style of figures while also doing ReAction figures. There have also been several comic series along the way, and of course the She-Ra cartoon on Netflix. Mattel is bringing back MOTU for the Origins line at retail next year. And the movie is supposed to be coming out in 2021...maybe...

Especially with all the Transformers movies we have now along with the other epic superhero and fantasy movies, it's funny how MOTU seems like it's always in some developmental hell. It feels like we should have already been on a third He Man movie by now.

I'm admitting it now: I loved the Dolph Lundgren MOTU movie.

I'm reading a lot of this kind of feedback online:
MOTU fans: "Ugh, MOTU figs based on fake wrestlers? PLEASE. Get this tripe outta here. MOTU only."
WWE fans: "Wrestlers combined with a nearly 40-year-old property that only old toy weirdos would care about? Pass. WWE only."
ME: "I'LL TAKE 'EM BOTH; I'M HARDCORE"

I grew up loving the original MOTU and I grew up loving NWA (and the other territories we saw in wrestling mags) so Remco wrestlers were closest things I had to them. So loved them too That said I have zero interest in this line. Hope it works for them but I doubt it will

Never thought of looking by car batteries or potting soil!

There is a massive motu market who are willing to spend a lot of money and it is a fantastic franchise so the possibilities are unmatched for this line if executed well Unfortunately they haven't do so thus far and I can see it self warming The sting / clawful mashup is lazy Triple H terror claws likewise Cena / faker is decent and warrior is great The new day / man e faces mashup is easily the best we have seen so far. Actually makes sense e and clear time had been put into it. A few lay ups we haven't yet seen: Charlotte / sorceress mash up. Imagine charlottes iconic green peacock robe but instead it's sorceress' equally iconic feathers Big show / fisto with big shows WMD finisher and fisto having the huge metal fist Teela / becky lynch - teela is a bad ass light brown / ginger hair ass kicking woman. Becky lynch is a ginger hair ass kicking woman Kevin Owens / ram man - short, squatty, rushing in head first...and then there's ram man :-D lol The only scorpion character in MOTU (well, technically POP) is a woman, so who else should Sting have been? Roman is Fisto. Pretty sure I remember either Steve or Bill saying they only had three waves planned out, so you might not have to worry about anything more if these don't move. All of those rings/figure pack displays are collecting dust in my neck of the woods. If these are that dusty after being in the store for a week, you need to complain to management about the lack of cleaning being done in your store, mang. I wouldn't have had sting if the only option was an awful and lazy interpretation of clawful The more interesting figures are the ones like the new day which is a great use of the man e faces gimmick

Although today they were moved again. lol They did away with the display cube and now they are on a shelf in they toy Dept. the main aisle as if you were going into the lawn and garden section. Airmont/Suffren they are in the main aisle from walking into the store. Just walk to the back as if you were going to the photo lab. And they are on the shelf across from where the jewelry case used to be.

My nearest Walmart (which hasn't been restocked on Elites in about 3 months) has a front of store display as well as a few in the WWE section. Doesn't look like any have sold. It's a cool ring, and I get like there are two figures included. But it seems like a very bassackwards rollout to have the rings available but no figures to go with it.

I would think they will sell better if they are actually by toys lol

I was surprised to see these at my Walmart. They are on an end cap in the automotive department for whatever reason.

I collect MOTU and WWE so these were easy pick ups. Got all that came out so far. Really surprised though not to see any of the single pack figures at retail.

Just an FYI if people aren't finding these...My store only has them on the massive wall at the front of the store by the registers. Barely noticeable. Make sure you check the front!
