I was able to get the 4 single figures and the ring with the 2 figures over the past few weeks online unfortunately Walmart’s packing is terrible and some came with creased cards and squashed bubbles. After a few reorders I was able to get a passable set before Walmart.con raised the price to $35 a figure I don't think Walmart have raised the price, I think they've sold out and now it's just a scalpy reseller that has them. This. Walmart's website is similar to Amazon now. Not everything is sold by them.

It's been said over and over and over again, yet people still won't understand it. Mattel doesn't control what each Walmart gets. I understand that. I’m not blaming Steve or bill or anyone. The bottom line is the distribution hasn’t been a strong point throughout the license. I guess we could say Walmart/target/etc is the worst at distributing Mattel WWE toys. 100% percent agree with this.

Not everything is sold by them. While Walmart allows third party sellers now (as does Target), the description says sold and shipped by Walmart so they have raised the prices. They've done this before. I remember they raised the flashback series (the one with Alundra) to around $35 for awhile before dropping it back. They probably raised it since it was selling out so fast/low supply.

Ive seen Walmart.com price gauge. Last month or so the GB Undertaker even though it was sold out they listed it at $39.99 sold and shipped by Walmart. While the other 4 figures were at their normal $15.88 price.

My brother sent me a picture that the Walmart near him has marked the ring and two figures down to $15.

And they still haven’t gotten any of the 6” Star Wars black Archive figures.

I haven't seen that Endgame wave in any stores except FYE...for $26.99.
According to brickseek, the Wal-Mart I bought my ring from sold them out at $5. They had about forty when I bought mine about three weeks ago. I haven't been there since, wonder how many they had left for $5.

The last ones that I saw last week at my store were gone yesterday. The tag still said $29.98 but they were gone. So this store sold 30 at $30 each without any peg warning issues.
As far as the Endgame figures go I saw a lone Captain America at Game Stop in early Dec. but it had a sloppy face especially for their higher price point.

How many of you guys who think that “Mattel’s distribution sucks” and “my store never has anything new” collect other lines like Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black Series?

And their shelves don’t go empty for months at a time, at least. Trust me Mattel WWE is my favorite out of all of them, but by far the worst (about being on the shelves, stocked conistantly)

WWE sells through and then may go dry for periods of time at certain locations. But that’s not universal as you’re clearly seeing lots of people find fresh cases. Other lines may sell through popular characters and then peg warmers sit and there’s no fresh product. Different visual in aisle but same effect.

So she said they should get them sometime within that first two weeks of January

I'm glad that the clearance purge is coming so my shelves will finally be cleared out of all the Ehrenreich Solo, Glover Lando, and Qi'Ra Black figures, and dregs of Kree Sentry, Wendigo, and Thanos Legends waves (and MCU Wasp that came out a year and a half ago and I can still find an entire case worth of just her) that have been clogging shelves for the majority of this year. But you know, having figures sit so long they actually have to be dusted is obviously better than selling through.

Different visual in aisle but same effect. Three of the closes walmarts to me (out of about 10 in a 30 mile range) went from August until December 20 with only Elite 68. When they restocked it was Elite 70. These stores never got Elite 69 so the stock numbers were never off. I already see people finding Monsoon which is the next main line Elite I'm interested in (unless you can say for sure Jack Brisco is coming, I'll go get Gerald). But based on the distribution from Walmart side, there is a slight chance I don't see Monsoon in stores if they go that long between getting new figures. Meanwhile most of the Marvel Legends pegs are full. I certainly don't blame Mattel for any of the distribution problems. It falls on Walmart. And I don't know how they buy the product but I know when I was a merch buyer for a company it was a lot easier for me to explain to my bosses why i spent x amount on Marvel than trying to explain anything wrestling.

Other lines may sell through popular characters and then peg warmers sit and there’s no fresh product. Different visual in aisle but same effect. You’re exactly right. Hasbro with Star Wars has created some of the all time worst shelf warmers with some of their decisions with the Black a Series, probably wat worse than Mattel WWE has ever even come close to BUT I guess I see it differently. At least something is on the shelf. I’d say 4 months out of a year at Wal Mart, your tiny cases of 8 Elites (being 6 to 7 different characters) sell quick, then the shelves sit empty. And I know Mattel doesn’t run Wal Mart, but they are probably the main face / customer / public supplier of your product. When they can’t keep them that makes Mattel WWE look bad (even though it’s really not your fault) Marvel - that’s a different story. Man they go so deep with some of their roster choices, it would be comparable to you guys producing major quantities of jobbers like Barry Horowitz, Iron Mike Sharpe, Aldo Montoya, etc, etc Of course they are going to have a lot of shelf warming. But they do it year after year and don’t change their whole dynamic (like a Mattel has with WWE). Y’all went from Flashbacks every wave and nearly as many Flashbacks as current stars a couple years back, to being lucky to get a dozen Flashbacks in a year’s time. Then whatever’s going on with Basics where we get maybe one Flashback every 4-5 series It’s just a whole different animal to me anyways, comparing Marvel Legends to WWE product. For those not familiar with Marvel Legends, IMO they go deep (and deeper) than Jakks Classic Superstars ever did , wrestling roster wise And please don’t take this as combative or arguing. I’m just stating the way I see it. Could be wrong to a lot of people. I appreciate your interaction and taking advice, giving advice, etc. thanks for all you do and your enthusiasm for this WWE line. It’s my favorite out of all these 6” - 7” lines to collect

I have one Walmart within 30 miles that is now showing the single MotWWEU figures as in stock, using sku 532716084 on Brickseek.

100% percent agree with this. I have a question. How many of you guys who think that “Mattel’s distribution sucks” and “my store never has anything new” collect other lines like Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black Series? I for one collect Marvel Legends, NECA horror figures,MOTU, and DC Essentials (which I only buy online). I dont think anyone is blaming Mattel for distribution but I have seen a couple of stores with no elites for 6 months while Marvel Legends and Star Wars consistently on the pegs. Im not saying they are peg warmers or not bc I dont collect them as strong as I do WWE but it is an issue to get the product on the shelves it seems more than the other lines. I probably visit stores maybe 8-10 times a week so I think I have a decent idea of what is out there. Nothing is perfect and Im never going to stop collecting but it would be nice to see figs on pegs when I go out. I work in finance so I dont have a clue at all how to fix it and nor do I pretend to but my thought is supply and demand. I feel like there are pople always hunting for an exclusive for example and they can go months or never find it. The only reason I have all the exclusives so far is because Im stalking the store for when they come out. Hell maybe Im part of the problem because these figs dont even make it to the pegs. lol I do have to second a lot of people in this thread and say thank you for taking the time out to answer all of our questions and staying in the thread for as long as you have.
