Not the WWE Hall of Fame, but I think it’s a fair proposal. When discussing wrestling reporters and journalists, it’s virtually impossible to go without naming Dave Meltzer. Yes, he may get things wrong and be a bit annoying at times, but his impact and importance is unquestionable. I’ve never been a “fan” of Meltzer, but he definitely has the credibility to make a case.

He did a podcast that was about an hour and a half with Jim Cornette a while back about modern wrestling. If you took out all the stuttering it would have been about 45 minutes.
Cornette: Joey Ryan sucks
Meltzer: abbabababa utt utt utt abb abb abb I mean that’s the thing! It works for his audience!
