FYI, this is the first time Miz has been involved in a feud for the World title since his WWE title run in 2011. Let that sink in that it’s taken 8 years.

Dave's next movie, My Spy, premieres January 10th. If they drag this out for a few weeks, Dave can show up on Smackdown, destroy Drake and promote his movie. Dave's non-Marvel movies haven't been hits, he needs to do all the promotion he can to make this next movie a hit for the studio.

The sad thing is, his popularity comes in waves. He didn’t hit his stride where he became digestible until he started building himself up with the IC title and Maryse. Then, everyone thought he was gonna he the one to turn on Shane, and that didn’t happen either, so he’s taken hit after hit and now, he’s back down to mid-main event status. If someone lights a fire under his ass again, he’ll deliver. But for right now? Face Miz may have a tweener edge, but he’s not entertaining in any way. |

I appreciate Gable’s drive to make the best of what he’s given and embrace it, but he has to realize how truly god awful being called “Shorty G” is.
You’re not going to main event shows with that name, you’re not going to hold big titles with that name, you’re not going to main event PPV’s or be the cover of posters.
I hope he goes back to Chad Gable in the near future.
