I'm gonna go with Benoit, he won from #1 and I don't think anyone really expected him to reach that status. The RR doesn't mean as much as it used to.

Only you would insist upon referring to McMahon by a name that was given to him by an abusive stepfather who he's openly stated he wished he could have killed. He loved the name!

Ric Flair 92 has always been my favorite. I’ve also got a soft spot for the 96 rumble.

I think Becky Lynch's Rumble win is probably my favourite. Very recent, I know. But the way the crowd popped huge both when she was officially inserted into the match and when she won? Unforgettable.

Benoit. While he had a story going into the match that Heyman would do anything to prevent him from earning a title shot, I don’t think anyone ever truly expected him to win from #1, especially after how stacked that Rumble was. Great match and with an amazing ending with Benoit and Big Show.
Batista ‘05, Flair ‘92, Naka ‘18, and Austin ‘97 were all great winners as well.

I'm gonna have to go with Nakamura's. Everybody thought Reigns was winning it and to see Nak take the win felt so awesome, even if he did go on to lose. That was for sure the hardest I've marked out for a Rumble winner.

The one that everyone will never mention because of the terrible tragedy that happened. Benoit was one of my favorite technical wrestlers growing up and to see him win the rumble and also win at Mania was just awesome at 7 years old. Definitely the most emotional WrestleMania moment in history, but will forever be forgotten by the company. He was my favorite winner because there was a whole storyline behind him winning and having to do it coming in at #1. The WWE was definitely trying to create a new star, something they havent done in recent years with all these comedy Rumbles and forced, predictable winners. Plus, the Rumble match that year was really well done.

I don’t know if we’re meant to include what happened at Mania in deciding our pick, but I’m just going with the Rumble match itself and Orton ‘09. As a biased Orton mark at the time, it was a long time coming. I thought it was his moment in 2006 and was very upset at how the match ended (and WM), so I was super happy for 2009. Of course Mania didn’t work out, but that’s another story.
I’d probably go with Nakamura #2 as being there live it was awesome to get what we wanted, and how it unfolded.

Austin for me....and out of his 3 wins? his blood soaked victory in 2001 takes the cake. Great stuff. Also loved Benoits win in 2004.

Bret Hart/Lex Lugar was my favorite because how it ended. The crowd didn't know who to cheer for with two baby faces
