I know a lot of folks haven't been fans of my recent posts, but this one we all agree is great, and straight to the punch. As we enter Rumble season, who's your all-time favorite? For me, it's either Vinnie Lupton (original name of Vince McMahon as he grew up in North Carolina trailer park) in '99 or Triple H in 2002.
How about you?!

Austin 01 Austin 98 Austin 97 Rock 2000 Cena 08 Orton 09 Batista 05 Rey 06 Taker 07 Edge 2010
My 10 fav winners in no order. If I gotta choose only one 1 of em... I’d go with Austin in 01 easily.

After having Randy Orton, Triple H, Roman Reigns, Batista and John Cena as the previous winners... this felt like a huge movement was being made. As usual, it didn’t live up to the hype.

Only gonna go from 02 as that's when I really started watching religiously. Undertaker is my favourite of all time so I was stoked for him to win the rumble but in terms of being over the moon about someone winning the it.. Beniot followed by Rey. Beniot was an awesome rassler and deserved the win finishing at Mania in the ring with Eddie its just a feel good story. Shame the whole thing is tainted so horrendously as it's the perfect rise through the ranks for both men as enemy's and friends.
Rey winning in Eddie's name just felt right yeah it was kinda predictable but so what so has every rumble since... I wonder how different things would have been if Chavo didn't turn down the push that got passed on to Rey

HBK in 96. Flair's 92 Rumble is my favorite actual Rumble, but babyface HBK going to Mania XII was starry eyed little boy sh*t for me. HBK was my guy and it felt like my team won the NFC Championship and then went on to win the Super Bowl from Rumble to Mania in 96.

I kinda always felt HBK's 95 win was tainted with the 1 minute intervals, and the lackluster roster at the time. But he solidified things by winning in 96. It was definitely his time. And what gets better than Flair winning in 92? Such a star-studded Rumble in itself, and Flair's win, and subsequent showing was legendary, still to this day.

Benoit(tarnished) and Mysterio.
Those were the 2 that made the Rumble feel like anyone had a chance.

The one that everyone will never mention because of the terrible tragedy that happened. Benoit was one of my favorite technical wrestlers growing up and to see him win the rumble and also win at Mania was just awesome at 7 years old. Definitely the most emotional WrestleMania moment in history, but will forever be forgotten by the company.

Edge winning the 2010 Royal Rumble was childhood memory of mine, Taker in 07, Batista in 05, Cena in 08, Orton in 09, and a lot of the RA Era winners were personal favorites.

Only you would insist upon referring to McMahon by a name that was given to him by an abusive stepfather who he's openly stated he wished he could have killed.

Nakamura for me. He was in the ring with some heavy hitters and big names. And an outsider who got big from New Japan eliminating "The Guy" they were pushing at the time was a huge moment. The crowd was ALL FOR IT also. Smiled from ear to ear.

Triple H 2002. They built the hype for his return well.

Nakamura's win was 100% tainted for me when he lost at Mania. The heel turn was cool, but it went absolutely nowhere either. He should have became a mega star, but all people remember from the whole thing was him saying "Sorry, I no shpeek Engrish."
