Do you think at this time we better forget about a release of the figure of paul ellering that we saw , i think 2 years ago ? Reasons 1. He was the manager of aop, but most of the people dont remeber that 2. As the manager of the road warriors/lod, or even doa, since none of these teams will get a figure or are under contract, for some people Ellering is pretty useless 3. Maybe as a Create-a-figure, but most of the young fans , wont try to buy 4 figs to get his figure, the only way, having hawk, animal, skull and 8 ball as a series but i dont think it will be easy to sign again lod 4. Ringside exclusive, it could be cool, since i really want to retire my old awa remco ellering figure.
What do you think ?

It replaced Mean Gene Okerlund and is dancing with Gobbledy Gooker on Bills desk.

They could do it as a BAF, but I would add in a classic head. I have no interest in a modern Ellering, but would kill for a Flashback one.

Flashback Ellering would be awesome. Sadly I think the proto we saw will remain in figure purgatory.

It's one of my top wants, but I don't believe we'll see it as long as LOD is off the table.

There's no reason to release the Paul Ellering figure we were originally shown. His time with AoP is long over, and was a relative blip, given the time that has passed since he last appeared with them. At this point, there'd be greater value in a Flashback Ellering, but as long as the Road Warriors aren't on the table, that's probably not going to happen. In either sense, I'm not worried...last April, my uncle, who happens to be a truck driver in the States, came across a display of Mattel WWE Elite Collection figure by Mattel at Filene's Basement. Not knowing which figures I was still actively hunting, he grabbed me one of each. I already had the Defining Moments Hollywood Hogan and the Walgreens Exclusive Naomi, but I was really glad to add Paul Ellering, the NXT Roderick Strong, and the Ultimate Deletion playset to my collection of Mattel WWE Elite Collection action figures by Mattel.

I get the Road Warriors being off the table but we already have 3 versions of them. I think he would sell regardless. I would take a basic at least.

AOP has sucked since they split with Ellering. It gave them so much credibility and they felt special in NXT. I have no idea why they split them up but it was a terrible idea. I like them with Rollins now, primarily because they went the Breaking Bad route with them, but they're a far cry from what they were in NXT. Which was a couple of ing savages with a mastermind for a manager. But yeah, I would love to see this figure still, or Paul in any capacity. Maybe they could do a Flashback BAF wave of NXT guys and still get it out. Be a good way to get us Corey Graves in ring gear, as well.

Release this version of ellering will be bizarre, because it was the version of him managing aop. I know that any lod can sell really great, but the look of the figure dont match any lod era, sadly. But i really want him anyway, ringside exclusive is the only way just likevthey dud withe andrade figure, the look was 2 years too late and im sure they sold not a log of this andrade fig because it is pretty blank figure with a cheao white hat, only for completist, so it vould be the same for ellering, at least its a first in line fig, and ellering is a manager legend, so im sure they can sell more figs of him than this version andrade. Maybe we will get an update from mattel someday.

He'd probably be a prime candidate for a store exclusive.

He never did the nxt house shows and just did the tv tapings and takeover. They actually did a really nice thing by having him debut on raw with them.

It doesn't get any better than a good, old fashioned regional grocer. May the deities continue to watch over the esteemed Butt family.

I'm in Tejas, and my HEB Plus consistantly has a better figure selection than any of the Walmarts or Targets near me. The Butts are my people.

Bill has added this figure to the "Minestry of Misery" on his shelf at home.
Misery to those who wanted this figure. Standing next to Hollywood Hogan and Itami
