I was not exactly a fan of that DO segment. Shoulda put the beatemdown on everyone, but out of the dark with only EO on the lit tron. Made less sense the way it went down.

I'm glad starlander is getting a big push, and thank god she said no to brandi. I feel like if anyone joins brandi's group its like career suicide. Baker should definitely be a heel as I am so bored of her already. This is what I think about when I see her:   |

Dark order needs to wrestle more, can't live off promos forever. I think there are way too many people in it already, half of the AEW roster will be in it eventually. Then who will they face? John silver and alex should of just stayed a tag team and went after the belts, dark order had enough guys already.
Brandi just needs to stop, her crap gimmick is so cringy its not even funny. Hopefully the mysterious man (which this week reminded me of gangrel for some reason) will clean that gimmick up.
Glad SCU retained the belts but we haven't had second champions for any of the belts yet. Wonder who will finally break through, probably starlander.
Still not sure why omega and hangman got pushed down the card so fast, they had so much steam for the world title. Hangman definitely had a lot of steam and now he is just in random tag matches? And I guess I already forgot he's part of the elite? I'm thinking they are trying to start a feud with omega and hangman which could get interesting.
Tully needs some serious promo skills...wow

Last night was the first time I felt that AEW wasn't as great as the week before. Not sure what it was about last night's show.
Jungle Jack Perry vs. Chris Jericho was good. Jericho though looks a lot like Hollywood Hogan out there in AEW. The long hair, the tanned body, the big midsection, the black tights and the weight lifter belt to help keep his back from going out.
Though I will say this about Jericho, he is doing in AEW for guys like Darby and Jungle Boy, what Hogan should have been doing in 1997 for guys like Jericho. Put the young guy over by having a match, showing the audience what they can do, and still walk out as Champion.
With NXT having two big title matches last night, I feel that NXT is gonna win this ratings war for the final shows of 2019.

Jericho is definitely showing his age, but I agree, he's doing a really good job helping put over the younger talent and setting them up for the future. I think both are going to be hurt by the impeachment news, and if anything I could see NXT being hurt more given their tendency to dominate the over-50 market. I could be wrong though. |
