In November 2018, I had the idea of creating the ultimate wrestling figure checklist ever. This began as a passion project that I would chunk away at every evening. I started with Ruthless Aggression, Hasbro, LJN etc. (all of the basic wrestling lines that had been well documented). I then began to put the rare wrestling lines in - the most challenging by far was Japan. I had great fun making this list, and have learned a lot about figures I didn't previously know. I put it online last month and let users pay whatever they wanted for it... though this stopped it gaining traction I feel. I hold my hands up and admit that I effed up by not just putting it out for free. So... as a Christmas present for WrestlingFigs.com users... and to celebrate the end of the 2010s, I have released my masterpiece PDF free of charge: wrestlingfigurechecklist.com. I ask in return for it being up for free... can you guys help me get this thing out there to the wrestling figure community? I seriously want Bill from Mattel to see this, alongside Ryder and Hawkins as I think they would really like it. If you are a super nerd, you can have a lot of fun with my project. It is presented in chronological order, and you can search for your favorite wrestler by pressing CTRL + F. Quick fun facts: - 4,005 Jakks figures and playsets
- 3,072 Mattel figures and playsets
- 481 John Cena figures
- 182 Hulk Hogan figures
- 337 Steve Austin figures
- 426 The Rock figures

I'll check it out when I get a chance. 481 John cena figures 😳. I remember him saying he doesn't collect his figures because there are too many of them but I am sure he has enough room in his house for all of them.

I made an exception on the LJN-style Slaughter since it would not look out of place with the actual LJNs as a wrestling figure. I feel that the other Slaughters constitute as G.I. Joe figures more than wrestling figures, so felt that they were best to be withheld from the list. I consider the Thunderlips Hulk Hogan to be more of a boxing figure than a wrestling figure. This was the real challenge of the list: figuring out where to draw the line. Like WWF walkie talikes that are sculpted just like figures, deciding whether they are figures themselves etc. |

Just to point out, I am feeling like I will update the list annually for new releases.
The reason I say this is that it shouldn't be too hard to go on Ringside's site and see what figures have come out for the past year, maybe a few are missing, but the majority will be on there.
I am still crowdsourcing and seeing if there are many others I have missed out, luckily, looks like there isn't so far.
