That is really awesome. I skipped around a little just to get to the end but intend to watch the entire thing. There really hasn't been a full dedication to LJNs like this since maybe the late 1990s. I really love some of the commentary like Zack finding Outback Jack in a Toys R Us or him telling Curt the Harley Race jacket was a make believe one. I hope Zack can find some of the other prototypes because I would love to see him holding a red pants Ricky Steamboat or one of the two versions of scarf Adrian Adonis or a hairy George Steele.

Awesome episode. The LJN figures were my childhood and I was right there when they started. So I have a ton of memories getting figures, hunting for figures, threatening my sister with King Kong Bundy and using my mom's lipstick as blood lol

I found him to be an offensive blowhard who thinks he's better than everyone else. Insults people who collect "dog toys" and his friends were "too cool" to have these as a kid? Get over yourself man. I highly doubt you were prom king dictating what toys all the peons could play with. He had no clue about any of these figures and I don't even know why he was included here. He provided almost nothing of value and kept calling SD Jones Koko... and it wasn't by accident.

Well I posted my comment after watching like...six minutes of the video (hence "so far") and also congratulations for wanting to argue about a post I made almost two weeks after the fact. I just watched the video the other day and usually pop into the forums just once a week... so you're welcome? Sorry I couldn't read your post, watch the video and reply in a timely fashion for you. Also, not looking to argue. That's cool if you like Conrad. I'd never heard of him before this video and he comes across as a complete d-bag in this. Seemed uninformed and had an aura of thinking he's better than everyone else. I'd never watch a video with him in it again or listen to his podcast. Bad marketing ploy IMO, but he clearly doesn't care about us "little people." If you think sharing an opinion on his personality is arguing with you, then alright.

I honestly don't remember anyone calling the LJN figures dog toys until the toys that made us episode aired this past summer.
Conrad's presence didn't really bother me I guess. IMO, I think formats like this usually work better when there are "experts" along with someone who isnt as informed on the subject (like Conrad) to kind of work as an audience proxy. Also, according to their following podcast, they showed up at Conrad's house a lot later than expected. Can't really expect everyone to be totally enthusiastic at like 2 or 3 in the morning.

Very true. I didn't hear the dog toys comment my entire life until that episode and now I've heard it a dozen times lol. I suppose I'd have found his lack of knowledge easier to swallow if he didn't come off as rude to people who did enjoy the toys. He acted like he was too good for them. It's cool if he collected Hasbro's. Myself, I was too old for those and didn't have any friends who had them. I would have been just starting high school when they came out and playing with WWF toys wasn't probably the best social move at the time lol. But there's a way to say that without taking a shot at people. For example "My circle missed out on the LJN phase because of our ages. We were all into Hasbro and other toy lines, so because of that... I don't really know a lot about these figures." Agreed on the time aspect. That is kind of rude on the other guys' parts expecting him to shoot for hours when they're already late.

We filmed a BONUS podcast episode AND video covering the history of LJN figures for our fans. We flew from our homes on our off days to Conrad’s house with the entire LJN collection plus prototypes...some never before seen. Btw, Conrad has a HUGE following with his very popular podcasts and we thought this would be ANOTHER great surprise for our fans. There were travel issues and we had to start late. You’re right. How rude of us. We should have just flew home and said forget it! Conrad was a great sport and we are very happy with the episode and the response. Can’t please everybody I guess.

Alright, simmer down. The video was interesting and as an LJN collector, I admire your collection. It's a cool concept and I watched every minute of the video. You're right, you can't please everyone. I'd never heard of Conrad and didn't like him at all in this video. He came off as pretentious, rude to LJN fans and uninformed. I have no interest in watching or listening to him again. That's an opinion and a valid one. Has absolutely nothing to do with you, it's him. I like you, I like the video, I like your collection... I don't like Conrad. He's too arrogant. Someone said it was because you guys were several hours late showing up to his house and he had to do this for hours in the middle of the night on Christmas, trying to explain his behavior. If true, I said that was rude. If you had travel complications, then that's understandable and unfortunate. No reason to get upset.
