Ok so far we have Charlotte, ruthlessfigs, and myself declaring for the Royal Rumble. Why has no one else?
Seriously though what storyline sense does it make? If NCAA teams were allowed to just declare themselves for March Madness and not qualify wouldn’t teams be chomping at the bit for a spot? This is like Tar Heels have entertered the tournament but no one else. Odd.

I'd rather nobody declare and let all the participants and the order be a surprise.
Kinda sucks when 26 people are already in and I know who the other 4 are because they "declared"

Seriously though what storyline sense does it make? Wrestlers want to win the Royal Rumble to get a title shot at WrestleMania. And WWE have always been inconsistent about how entries are announced - sometimes the wrestler announces it themselves, sometimes it’s just included on the match graphic, sometimes an authority figure or commentator announces it, sometimes there are qualifying matches, sometimes there are surprise entrants that weren’t announced beforehand. It’s a very strange thing to get upset about in 2020 when they’ve been doing it for many, many years. An early front runner for the “complaining for the sake of complaining” award for this year.

Should we just have no message board then? Complaining about complainers is so last decade bruh.

The Royal Rumble match is one of WWE's most fluidly regulated matches. It seems paltry to gripe about the procedure in which someone is entered into the match when precedent dictates one can just as easily have their entry revoked by another member of the roster willing to resort to nefarious means to take it, or by virtue of convenient substitution.
Wrestling defies logic, and this is nothing new.

Is Finlay in charge this year in who gets to declare for the Rumble?

If the Royal Rumble entry process wasn’t worth getting upset about any other time during the last 30 years, it probably isn’t worth getting upset about now.

I sent a tweet to wwe and Steph to declare for the rumble. Am I in? Will they email me with more details? Thanks in advance. Yes. You better start training because the thing is before the end of the month.

I wanted to discuss it with other wrestling fans. Stop trying to police the very nature of why these boards exist. Thread doesn’t interest you? Find another to interact on.

Just wait til the actual Rumble. You'll see posts on what the rules should be for the Rumble, and if they're "broken", you'll see posts screaming that the wrestler should be DQed from the Rumble

I'm volunteering to help the women get dressed for the event. It got to be challenging for Alexa to slip on those booty shorts without some lotion.
