I was told in the Mattel Board that some parts of Canada didn’t get Legends 7 and am offering to help anyone who still needs it, in an effort to clear out my store for series 8 to come in No part of Canada got Legends 7 at retail (TRU or Walmart). I didn't even see anyone seling them at comic shops, toy stores etc. Oh, well here in the states we can’t get rid of Heenan so anyone who needs one hit me up to get one for cost plus shipping or a 1 for 1 trade, and I can probably get you a Hall as well and possibly Valentine

A little disappointed to see RSC sell the Jericho chase at probably not the full scalper price, but 3x above retail. What happened to being able to potentially find these at retail? I guess it’s still possible but the odds of that have gone down a lot more now.

Hi everyone! I’m new to the forum and excited to find a place for Canadians to discuss fig collecting! I’ll be sure to post if I find anything exciting.
I’m in the Ottawa area. Hit the TRU west yesterday and they had a few Elite 75 which were new. Other then that a lot of peg warmer AJ’s and WM Matt Hardy.
I’m trying like hell to find the AEW figs but no luck. I’ll do another hunt today.
If you’re in the Ottawa area and find any AEW figs let me know please!

No part of Canada got Legends 7 at retail (TRU or Walmart). I didn't even see anyone seling them at comic shops, toy stores etc.
Series 7 was not released in Canada and now does not look like it ever will be.
While its great to see the Legends line FINALLY hit the shelves at Toys R Us, I am disappointed that they decided to skip Series 7 and pick up Series 8 instead even though its not totally unexpected. I had a feeling this would happen, series 7 hit stores in the USA months ago and its been a couple months since Mattel said Toys R Us would be carrying the legends line- this explains the hold up- they were waiting for Series 8 to arrive and had no intention of carrying Series 7. Series 8 is a better overall set then series 7 was (another weak start to a store exclusive line IMO- someone should tell Mattel you are supposed to start strong when launching a new product or product line), however I was hoping they might still pick it up as it was my only hope of ever finding a Greg Valentine figure at retail or close to retail price- that hope is now gone. I have been waiting 10 years for them to make a Valentine figure and when the finally do they stick it in a store exclusive line that only Americans can get- typical Mattel BS. We got Beefcake and niche junk like Warlord, Berzerker and Tugboat in the main line but Valentine (an old school great that many had been clamouring for a figure of) is not worthy of a spot in the main line.
It looks like its time to call it a day, my only other big want is E82 Bulldog and that won't be available here either and from the looks of it Ringside isn't getting it either. This line has really gone off a cliff the last few years, its surprising to see how many accept mediocrity especially considering the higher quality figures other companies like Hasbro & Jazzwares are producing for pretty much the same price point as Mattel's elite figures. Here is a great quote from long time Mattel board member Old School Collector who recently sold off everything- he sums it up nicely IMO and surprisingly the Mattel shills and trolls did not jump all over him for his comments (guess since he's a long time member he gets a pass):

Has anyone who placed an order with Northmen Collectibles received their figures yet?!
I placed an order for an Elite 77 figure 2 months ago and there is still no sign of it- who the heck is he getting these from and are long wait times typical with this store?! I did not know it would take months to arrive (at this rate it probably won't arrive until next year) and now regret placing an order but I am stuck as he won't let you cancel and also threatens you with a cancellation fee if you are thinking of cancelling.

Hopefully he'll be getting them some time this month. I know he was late in the game and waiting to have them shipped from the USA likely causing the delay. I would try sending them a message. I have some e79 and e80 figures pre ordered from them and hoping to get them by the end of the year.

You can always message the guy who posted on here from the states. Probably won't cost you that much more than retail.

I did contact him and he seemed to be quite ticked off that I was contacting him to inquire about a product I paid for in full in advance and told me that he had no clue when they would be arriving because he is not given any status updates from whomever he orders the figures from. I find this a bit suspect and don't understand how he can't even give you an estimated time of arrival which is what all the legitimate businesses that sell collectibles do (Ringside, Amazon, B B T S). I don't need to know the exact day it will arrive nor do I have to have it right away (I have patience and can wait), all I want is an estimate of how long it will take- weeks, months?! Its not a good thing to keep your customers in the dark IMO, at this point I am starting to question whether I will receive the figure at all?!
I doubt you will see E79 & E80 by the end of the year, he hasn't even gotten E77 in yet and those sets likely won't hit retail until next year so how would he get them so fast?!

Just a thought but even though the world has opened back up mostly (especially for big buisnesses) smaller buisnesses trying to recieve things shipped across the border are probably having an even harder time.

I’d also had enough of it becoming a chore in order to get something that I wanted. Scalpers and other nonsense like preorders being cancelled ect just caused me to call it a day. I had a ton of fun collecting and while I’ll always stick around to see what they put out, they’ll never pull me back in. These 2 Jake Roberts attires have been wants of mine since DAY 1 of collecting Mattels ... kinds ironic that this was the last series that I cancelled my pre-order for. Best of luck to those that are still trying to stick with it, but if it isn’t fun for you anymore, then don’t feel like you HAVE to buy their second rate qc products ... and PLEASE do NOT buy from scalpers ... have patience.

Uh...dudes....look what I found 😳 Hope theyre going to be on the website soon Knowing them it won't be for another 4 months. I don't get why it's so hard for these huge companies to keep their websites properly updated, they must have a whole team of people responsible for that.

I guess it’s still possible but the odds of that have gone down a lot more now. It's because the people in control of distributing the figures realized that they need to get their cut before the collectors do. Things will never go back to the way they were unless you're lucky enough to find one randomly at retail.
