Dang...My receipt for Elizabeth and Viscera just passed the 90 day mark, although I see MOTU and AEW figures are also on sale.

I think I saw a sign at my Walmart that returns can be made within 120 days (30-day extension above their typical return window due to covid). I might be wrong but it might be worth looking into.

Really hoping Walmart gets new product during this rollback, not only in the stores but online as well.
Better not be the day after the sale, Walmart's all "hey everyone, our aew series 1 and 2 and new elites 78, 79, 80, just came in!! Too bad you'll have to pay full price, really too bad"

Don't know if anyone noticed but Toysrus has been putting a Legends figure on their site each week around Friday. Warrior was just on but quickly sold out. Week before was Orndorff and before that Eddie. Keep an eye out in the upcoming week for Jake if the pattern continues

Why are they putting them on their website- are these online exclusives?! Is this why they have not shown up in stores, I have been checking my local Toys R Us for weeks and there has been no sign of the legends figures. If they were going to make the available only through their website then why not let people know that??

They have already blown through most stores and are gone. I read here or on CWF someone was saying that they talked to TRU and TRU was saying that was it for stores. They got all the Legends they will get from this series. Whether that is true or not I don't know. This sucks though because I've been waiting for Warrior to show up on their website. That's what I get for not looking on internet today until now.

What's with places like TRU ordering Legends in such small quantities? When they sell out immediately, but all the basics are still sitting there rotting the shelves, you'd think they might take notice.

Like I said before they order basics because they are cheap. Basics outsell elites because they don't order enough elites. When they look at sales data they just see basics making more money.

When were they in stores?? I have been going to my local Toys R Us every second day and I was told they only get new stock in a couple times a week so when did they stock them and how the heck did I miss them?! If stores did stock them and they sold out then why don't they order more?! What a friggin' gong show this whole line has turned into, distribution just keeps getting worse and worse. If this is true then I am done, its going to be virtually impossible to find the other legends sets- if Toys R Us decides to carry future waves?! Its been a good run but collecting this line has gone from a fun endeavour to nothing but stress & aggravation which is an indication that its time to pack it in- hobbies are supposed to be fun and this one is no longer fun.
I just noticed a post in the Mattel board from AFA, he posted a reply regarding the retro line and stated that Elites are the #1 selling action figure line in the USA- how in the hell is that possible with the pi$$ poor distribution this line has?? It has become virtually impossible to find these figures yet he keeps spouting his marketing spin that WWE elites are the top selling action figure line- what a joke.

I would highly doubt that here in Canada the Elite line is the #1 seller. I'm sure Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black Series have something to say about that. Interesting to hear that it's apparently the #1 selling line in the US. I honestly just think that less products are being produced. I believe that due to the pandemic and legal troubles that Mattel has been dealing with recently all factor in to smaller budgets, therefore quantities have had to be shrunk down to save money.

I'm pretty sure when he said elites were the best selling line he was talking about specifically WWE. Also not every Toysrus was carrying the Legends figures.

I don't believe Elites are the top selling line in either the USA or Canada. The Superhero genre is way more popular then wrestling, which is back to being a niche product just like it was before the 80s boom period. Also, Marvel & DC merchandise is more widely available than Mattel WWE stuff- I started collecting the new Spider-Man retro line recently and those figures were a lot easier to find then elites are.
This is what I have been thinking for a while now, it definitely seems like they have cut back the amount they are producing of each set- the question is did Mattel cut back due to whatever issues they are having (financial or production problems) or have retailers scaled back the amount they order thus forcing Mattel to cut back the amount they produce?! Either way, the end result is the same, namely that there is not enough supply to meet demand and many people who would like to buy these figures are not able to because they can't find them. This also explains the 'empty shelf syndrome' that many stores are experiencing and the thing many collectors have been complaining about for a while now. Less product comes in, it sells quickly and this results in empty shelves while retailers await new product (i.e. the next series) to come in.
No, he was referring to action figure lines as a whole not just WWE lines:
I don't see how this is possible, are elites selling better than Marvel Legends or Star Wars figures which have more widespread appeal and are more widely available?!

Don't forget just because you can't find elites dosen't mean they aren't selling. A quick look on Ebay will tell you differently.
