I heard. This is devastating. Far and away the hardest music death that I've ever experienced. Tom Petty was hard, but this is another universe. I feel numb. It's almost like losing a family member.

I was the same way for Dime. And Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington. Then death smacks me again when Vinnie Paul died. Like. Can't catch a break AT ALL.

I was just coming here to post this and I agree, this one's been especially hard. Neil and Rush were a huge influence in my recent tastes in music and seeing them live was one of the best concerts of my life. I went back and listened to Nobody's Hero and immediately teared up. RIP to the Professor.

Very sad. I had no idea he was sick. One of the most amazing, talented drummers ever.

Never liked Rush, but I always appreciate a good drummer. RIP.

I wasn't big on Rush, but if the drumming on Tom Sawyer doesn't get your heart racing, you must be catatonic. RIP! I must go watch "Adventures of Power" in his honor.

I heard the terrible news this morning, I'm still numb from the shock to be honest. Been a fan since highschool and Rush has been up there as one of my go to favorites all these years.

Saw this online and figured I'd share it. This is on a billboard here in Philly...
